Anyone know where I should go to watch the Chile game? I work with a Chilean and a few other Latins and wanted to organize a small watch party

My son, asked if Zippy was going to throw the ball at Brutus' head at halftime too. Unfortunately it was just before the game.

Yeah they play most at Palumbo but a few at Consol.

Looking forward to a basketball double header today. I somehow won 2 floor tix to the Duquense vs VCU game playing where the Penguins play hockey with overnight accommodations at the Cambria suites that is connected. Game starts at 2 and they are supposed to give us Duquense merchandise as well when we get to our seats. After the game we will head back to Akron to watch the zips. Expecting a good game in the nightcap and looking at the records the first game it could be a blowout.

For me, I was a commuter who never attended a Zip sporting event upon graduation in 2004. I went to a handful of basketball games when in high school with the team. I also supported osu. I don't know what finally made me see the light but I think it was watching the Hixon td in the MAC championship. I then went to the Motor City bowl for my first ever Zip football game. Then started to remove myself from OSU over time and went to more Zip games. I have now been a reserved season ticket holder of soccer since they put the seats in and have had GA football and basketball in some form or fashion over the past 5 years or so. I dress both kids in Zips gear for every game and the oldest refers to the team down south as the Suckeyes.

Over 1000 likes. Too bad that doesn't happen on anything that relates to the Zips

I didn't find the officiating horrible. Most of the fouls called on us were legit as we play touchy defense at times. I didn't like the "T" call on Evans as I think it should have been a delay of game warning. He didn't throw the ball at the player, although he quickly handed it to him but it was close to his face. If he would have said something when he did it I would understand the T but in the heat of the moment the ref saw it differently.

I think it was more grades than talent. Similar to what Harney and Tree had to do but I could be mistaken.

So now Akron has 11 scholarship players but all can play. I guess I didn't fully realize that when someone transfers they take up one of the 13 scholarships that year even though they aren't playing. It makes sense as I step back now to look at it.

Did bj play at all in second half last game or this game?

I am most interested selfishly in who will be the RB. I sit in the first row of the reserved section so I get to see these guys up close running down the flank. Since 2008 it's been Kofi, Deandre and Saad. 3 extremely talented speedy players and I believe Saad will have a pretty good career in the MLS.

Frustrating half. Noah will be a great player for us but needs to work on moving feet on half court defense. He also plays oley defense on the fast break. I would like to see a charge or standing his ground sometime. Also coaches need to adjust full court pressure and have Cheatum not guard man until they get to 3 point line. Their players are to quick for him
