We don't win Friday without Harney playing about 20 minutes at the point. Is he perfect, no, neither is Melo. They both bring different attributes which benefit the Zips. One thing we can do with Harney is a 1-4 set and let him back down a smaller defender to about 10 feet and shoot over them.

Unlikely that it will be within an 8 hour drive. My guess is a 12 seed and Lunardi has us as a 13. 12's and 13's play in Kansas City, San Jose, and Salt Lake. If we could get an 11 (or 14) it would be Austin or Detroit.

Correct ZIP. Her coach is Mark Alberts Sr. He was the long-time boys coach at Orrvilles rival Wooster. Mark, Jr has coached at WCAL Northwestern where he has won numerous league titles. Also, Macie Alberts was coach of the Orrville girls for about 7 years in the early 2000's. It will be interesting to see if Hannah can come in and contribute right away as a backup guard. I hope so, cause this team is going to be very good next year.

I really liked how Harney handled the ball and O for the couple minutes in the second half before he fouled out. PG - Harney SG - Walsh SF - Gilliam PF - Treadwell C - Zeke I also think Carmelo played well but Can't just played off and doubled the post when he was in there due to a lack of shooting threat. I still think Carmelo should play 20 minutes+ but I like him coming off the bench and bringing the defensive intensity.

I want to see Jonas "the human victory cigar" at least one more time before the regular season is over. I'm counting on it Tuesday!

Not students, but I'm brining my dad and in-laws for BG so there is 3 that we don't normally have. Everyone needs to make sure they invite people and get the place packed for the remaining games.

He's listed as a senior. He "played" 2 years at Xavier but got a medical redshirt for one year. Then had to sit out a year do to the transfer. This is his second year with the Zips. So you take out his medical redshirt year and he has only played 3 years but he is a senior. If he wanted to press hard, he might be able to petition the NCAA for a 6th year but from what I have heard and with the scholarship situation that isn't planned.

Looks like the 4 games after this one (starting at 3pm) are televised on STO. Why not do all of them STO?

Technically with the blowouts there will be a couple games where there isn't a 7 footer in there for about 2-4 minutes. But then they have to deal with the Lithuanian scoring machine.

I DVR'd The Last Fall on BET this weekend and started watching it this morning. Pretty good so far and included a reference to Akron. The main charechter who is a now former NFL practice squad player is having dinner with a high school flame and her parents and they asked what he did for a living. He said played football and the dad said he used to play and they asked where they played college ball. The main charechter said Akron while the dad said Harvard. It was nice to get a mention in the movie.

Josh finally made it official he is going to Walsh to reunite with Dupont from his Jackson days.

I'm thinking of taking the family to a womens game. Do they have different seats like mens or is the lower bowl all general admission?
