  1. I agree. I would like to think I would have done the same in that situation, but deep down if I were Kwan's size, I know I would probably not be playing for the team tonight. Nice job Kwan, I'll file that one away in my memory banks. The wave didn't bother me.
  2. I saw multiple kids at the Lizard last night. Some were enjoying free popcorn.
  3. I saw about 7 other ZN members, and a group of 19 or so possible students (some might be on the 7 year plan). I would hope tonights crowd will be bigger. Not looking forward to the Ken+ girl-like screeching every time there is a Portage county peach bucket.
  4. I don't have time today, I'll do it later if nobody else does. Have you considered a part time job as owner operator of Ken+statesucks.com? I think you would be awesome at it. You know it, I know it, KD knows it. Hopefully the clock doesn't strike midnight at the Cinderella Three Ball tonight. Keep running those screens and play outside in....shhhhhhh don't tell anybody though because KD is trying to confuse the opponents...and some Zip fans. We might need 13 tonight.
  5. ZN should be a budding community that nurtures ideas, but too often those ideas are uprooted with a continual adage. This is what keeps some from expressing their thoughts here. Instead of giving up, I remind members to use the ignore members posts feature instead.
  6. Keener, that is sooooo awesome, I may have to steal that idea.
  7. I've wrote multiple times on ZN (as others have), that I would like to see set plays run for McAdams. It's finally starting to happen. So last night Frenchy asks KD about it after the game, and KD responds "Yeah, if the head coach would have gotten his head out of his rear end a long time ago we could have been doing this all along." For those of you that continuously write "trust KD", or "KD knows better than you", you might want to consider that some ZN members have the ability to evaluate and discuss things that might be good ideas.
  8. No, I'm astute to the quality of this league.
  9. My tickets were $9.50 last night, and are $9.50 for tonight. I posted the special here yesterday in the WMU thread. Incase you missed it, here it is again.
  10. I agree. Sitting so close made me realize how slow they play. David Brown is wrong, a (depleted) Zips team is better than his ex team. BTW, I logged into ESPN3 at the arena last night with a TWC login and the game was NOT blacked out. A friend texted me during the the game that DirecTV login worked too. Stream away tonight if you "can't" make it. #BeatKent
  11. New video from Grit Media about LeBron’s childhood friend and former HS teammate Romeo Travis who has been playing overseas for the past 8 seasons. The video shows Romeo, LeBron and Dru Joyce shooting around this past summer as Romeo talks about his basketball journey. Source: More here.
  12. I agree, and it doesn't read like anyone has any agendas.
  13. Lemonator, one step closer to a roster spot in the NFL.
  14. Party at the Lizard! .... two hours prior????? I have a feeling ZN members are more dedicated than the marketing department. How many three pointers taken, and how many made tonight? Ohio Lottery BOGO.
  15. Zips' Pro Timing Day is in full swing at the Field House today
  16. What is a Blackout? How is my location determined if the event is blacked out?Blackouts apply to telecasts that have been sold regionally or locally per league, conference and local rightsholder agreements. Regional and local rights holders are usually broadcast stations or regional sports networks. Blackouts are implemented to protect the primary rights holder, as defined by the professional and college sports leagues or teams in a given market. If you are receiving blackout messaging on WatchESPN, check your local listings to find the television network carrying the event. If you see a message that states, "This content is subject to blackout", this is because the event that you requested is not available on WatchESPN in your location. Your location is determined by your IP Address. If you are connecting with a mobile device and believe you are incorrectly receiving blackout messaging, try connecting via WiFi. If you continue to receive inaccurate blackout messaging, please contact our Customer Care Team at 888-549-ESPN or @ESPN_FanCentral. source
  17. Cheatham, McAdams and Ibitayo made three 3-pointers apiece as the Zips hit 14 of 30 from distance. Talking with Frenchy before the game KD said "I like to play the inside game, right, but when your strength is the three point shot, you have to go with it...right?" Now I'm worried how many we have to hit Wednesday night.
  18. Nice call zippy5. Great game! Good luck to the team at the Q!
  19. "We'll get some minutes out of him, but we will be cautious" -KD with Frenchy on 1350.
  20. Would that not apply to every team in the country?
  21. I agree, but does the Zips offense allow for that?
  22. Gravity screws him when he leaps at three point shooters.
  23. George writes the Zips remain confident. Dambrot mentioned after the Can't State game that he can’t wait to see just how good his team is next year, a statement that may have raised an eyebrow. That wasn’t a concession regarding the current season. Not even close.“I still think we can win this year,” Dambrot said after practice at Rhodes Arena Sunday afternoon.
