  1. I used apple TV. Quality was about 7/10. After about the 10th ridiculous thing Groh said in the first quarter, I turned on iheartradio, but it wasn't synced with the video. Also annoying in the first half, ESPN3 clowns wouldn't tell you the name of one Akron Zip. It was as if they didn't have a roster to look at.
  2. Out of curiosity, how did you follow the game. Feel free to describe below. ESPN3: Xbox? AppleTV? With an app? On your phone? Firstrow? Other? Radio: 1350: WARF? Iheartradio app? Internet?
  3. I think that article could have been one sentence long. And one that most informed ZN members have been writing for years.
  4. Good notes. I wonder if we rotated too much last night? I guess it's a fine line. I would expect to see a "tighter" rotation in MAC play. I'm impressed the refs held their flags early in the game. The Zips OL could have been called for more holding...especially Zenel. Your note about the receivers makes me think we may see some more youth sooner at that position, rather than later. For those of you that didn't get to see the telecast. I thought the story of Shaquem Griffin (one handed) UCF player was interesting/inspiring. His twin players for the team also. Shaquem didn't dress for the game last night though.
  5. What was the stat they showed last night, UCF was sacked 32 times all of last year, and the Zips had 4 last night? That OL is no joke, when the Zips play a less talented group, we might see more. And hopefully some turnovers.
  6. No. It was so obvious even Al Groh figured it out and commented on it. I felt my small reward for sticking it out to the end was MTB contributing, and the final TD drive in garbage time. MTB needs to get more touches early. He looks like he belongs out there.
  7. I find it hard to believe that anybody hired Al Groh as an NFL head coach. Ponderous first half. Play MTB!!!
  8. Zips +23.5 right now, 55.5 o/u. I haven't seen a real money line, but it should be somewhere around 10 or 11 to 1. D needs to come up with some big turnovers!!!
  9. I think you need to read, or reread the article.
  10. Did you read the article from start to finish, or just repeat what you read on columbusstatefootballforum.com? I wonder if Myers name gets brought up so much during the trial that the NCAA is forced to act. Comparing KD/AA situation to Myers/Hernandez is pretty ridiculous.
  11. Wow, a decent home opponent on a Thursday night in January (not Saturday during NFL playoffs), count me in! I have a good animated gif already for this game somewhere...hmmmmm
  12. I'll buy that (for now) HT. I have to think MTB plays. Coach has mentioned him multiple times the last month in the media. I will be disappointed if he doesn't.
  13. Well written Rolling Stone article by Paul Solotaroff w/ Ron Borges Aaron Hernandez Mother Terri Married Jeffery Cummings Violent Drug Dealer After Cheating On Father Dennis Hernandez But in January 2006, Dennis checked himself in for a hernia repair at a local hospital. Something happened on the table, though, and he contracted an infection; two days later, he was dead. He was 49, in otherwise splendid health, and beloved by virtually everyone in town. Gators head coach Urban Meyer helped "cover up" failed drug tests and also helped with the bar assault and the shooting that happened near a Gainesville bar
  14. You might have an angle for a profit. Know your market.
  15. I care more what coach says rather than Marla. For example, I like this quote: “You need a difference-maker,” he said. “A bunch of guys who overachieve and a couple stars. Then you’ve got to get some luck. Luck seems to go with teams that play well.” Bowden hopes he has found a clone of Can't State’s Dri Archer in Fransohn Bickley, a 5-foot-6, 138-pound freshman receiver from St. Vincent-St. Mary. “He’s a ‘Wow’ guy. We can’t touch him on the [practice] field,” Bowden said. “I keep thinking, ‘That’s going to look really neat against Michigan.’ He’s a fantastic fella, but he looks like he’s in junior high school.” If Bickley is half as productive this year as Dri was last year, I'll be happy.
  16. MAC Press Teleconference Coach Bowden's Q&A.
  17. I love it!
  18. Bingo. Thanks for posting SZ.
  19. I can't wait to see this translate on the field!
  20. MTB making more noise…this time in the return game. Click on link to find out what youngster is stepping up at RB. One position where competition remains heavy is kick returner. With senior cornerback Malachi Freeman sitting the day out with a minor injury to his elbow, four other Zips — true freshmen Fransohn Bickley and Mykel Traylor-Bennett among them — stepped up to stake a claim. No one in this area should be surprised at Bickley’s ability, given the fact that he showed promise in all three phases of the game during his time at St. Vincent-St. Mary.Traylor-Bennett continues to show his eagerness to get on the field and impressed with one return. “He did it real well in high school and he wants a shot at it,” Bowden said.
  21. I sure hope Columbus State doesn't grab our number one candidate!?!
  22. Push through the pain.
