Sounds interesting to me, one of the few things I enjoyed on tv in the last year was on History Channel. Four modern day explorers take the same route through Africa as Stanley may have followed to find Livingstone. They did it in 30 days. I forget what it was called. Maybe Expedition Africa. I still have your last suggestion to read. Plan on doing so at the end of this month when I take a mini vaca to Long Island.

Lebron continually says he wants to put Akron on the map. U is looking for a new basketball facility. U is short on funds. LBJ is a potential billionaire. Helping to construct a new facility with his name on it seems to solve a lot. There has to be a way that a new facility can benefit both parties. I would think Akron basketball would get serious talent and recognition if LBJ's name was on that new facility. Maybe a little selfish of me, but that's what I would like even if he does play for the Knicks.

Good to see a nice post about the ticket office, it has been a struggle to get this far. Hope you enjoy the game and atmosphere.

How much will LBJ donate to the University of Akron if he makes 1.94 BILLION DOLLARS!?!? We should be able to get that new basketball arena. THAT should put Akron on the map LBJ. That's what you want...right?

I still remember that billboard. It was pretty cool. It might have been our last football marketing billboard. Now they just call me every week and say "are you going to buy tickets" I am, I just want to see how many times this guy calls before the season starts. So far 4 times.

My great aunt would have a good saying every time I said "I hope" when referring to sports. I think it would probably apply here. I'll bite... what did your great aunt say? Me sainted Granny use to say .... "shite in one hand and wish in the other. Then see which one fills up first." That's the one. She had a similar one when I would say "I thought..."

If I said it once, I said it 10 times last year, our staff could not adjust a game plan to save their....well, job I guess. That is one of the things I will be watching close this year to evaluate iCoach. Win or lose. I think both of our new schemes lend themselves to a better chance of success in this department.

Sometimes I read a post and think, what is (fill in the blank) going to think when they read this. How long ago was everybody telling Z he should gain weight? Now when he is, some are concerned he is gaining too much weight?!? Zeke is on a calorie plan. He is doing what KD has instructed.
