  1. What does wrong with?
  2. The missing offensive linemen must not have had a good celebration dance or somethin'.
  3. I love that kid. I wish he would have came to Akron from the get-go.
  4. CK wins the day. That article is what professional journalists are supposed to write. Kudos to you for putting in the work after you already put in a full day of work at your day job. Love for the Zips is a powerful thing. This thread has 83 views. All the incessant bitching about the BJ's lack of coverage when but a everyday Joe does the work of a professional. . . y'all tell me how in the Hell does the original post not have 83 likes??? One more thing. . .
  5. I am hoping this kid is Travis Switzer 2.0.
  6. I think I made my opinion of my last trip out there pretty clear. I did hear that it is legal to buy a six-pack out there now. Pennsylvania Progress!
  7. The sticker I put in the rear window of my truck after I visited State College, PA. . .
  8. Rust never sleeps.
  9. As far as I know, I was the only person saying sit him and I don't really believe that we should. You are 100% correct. You can't sit a player unless there is a medical reason. There have probably been some pretty flimsy medical reasons over the years, but that is another discussion. Guys. . . sometimes no one argues with skip-zip in a timely manner and I just try to do my duty and not let those opportunities pass by. Just messing with you, Skip.
  10. How can you not love a guy named Maverick Wolfley?
  11. Apples & oranges, but as an aside for everybody, if your NFL team had home field advantage locked up for the playoffs before game 16, would you want your stars risking injury to play in a non-impactful game? Just curious. If they did play and you lost a couple of star players for the playoffs because they were injured in a "meaningless" game, would you be pi$$ed?
  12. You are absolutely 100% right. However, OSU also has a thing called roster depth, though. Make no mistake, if healthy, I believe WB34 should play against PSU. Actually, it is probably a better argument to have whether or not he should play against UAPB. I hope he goes off for 428 yards against the Nits and sets the all time single game rushing record in a Zips win for the ages. If he gets hurt again, I will still bitch but that's what people expect from me anyway.
  13. No. I'm just armchair qbing, after the fact, pissin&moanin. Unless there is a medical reason not to, players gotta play no matter the odds of winning. I guess my real beef is with scheduling unwinnable games.
  14. We lost. How does that translate into % chance for winning?
  15. I want to win. Moral victories mean nothing to me. However, if you would allow me to make a retroactive choice, I would choose Akron to sit Warren Ball for Wisconsin last year. We had 0.0% chance to win that game and we really needed him in the MAC.
  16. As long as anything means losing, I guess.
  17. I mean who wouldn't love tight ends in the college game??? Especially when the highest rated TE in FBS last year netted his team almost 500 whopping yards??? Woohoo!!!
  18. Don't worry. It ain't selling out.
  19. Chris Kelley. I believe he was out of Lorain Catholic.
  20. That looks fantastic!
  21. Dr. Z and JZ84 making my argument for me.
  22. I'm with ya, Doc but weapons need to be integrated into the system and game plan or they are just wasted talent. Many schools have problems with this, not just the Zips.
