The third one was by far the worst. Just because at that point in the game, the most important thing the QB can do is not turn the ball over. Yet on second down he floated a ball right to the defense. I don't get why it's so difficult for the Zips to have even a mediocre QB. We don't need Frye or Getsy. We literally just need a guy who can manage the game, hit wide open WRs and not hurt us. As a fan of NE Ohio sports, my two football teams just can't get it right. They have no idea how to handle the QB position, constantly play down to competition and have games filed with self inflicted errors.

This is probably the worst I've ever felt after a win. But damn, we needed that. In the grand scheme of things 1-3 isn't much better than 0-4. Just hope this gives the team a little momentum going forward.

I've been embarrassed a lot as a Zips football fan. But this is by far the worst performance I've ever seen.

After one of his sacks he was furious. I thought maybe he was yelling at the refs for a missed holding or facemask. Instead he was yelling at teammates. I feel bad for him. After all he's a college kid who had two surgeries that probably ruined his throwing arm. It has to be frustrating, but I think the best move is to find another option.

I'm 100% confident in his ability to run for 2 yards, throw incomplete passes and get stopped on 3rd down.

I have a hard time believing the Zips score again the rest of this game. Defense needs to hold.

Two penalties are going to give Temple an easy lead on this drive. Just need to be smarter on defense. Especially against such a mediocre QB.

This Temple team is bad and the Zips let them right back into the game. I think we still have some ways to go.

Great first half. Having said that I'm about to hammer the Temple moneyline.

The offensive plays are there but Irons can't hit his receivers. This is rough.

The ACC just called SMU to tell them Akron is taking their spot.

Being one-dimensional definitely hurt them in the 4th and the game will end up seeming more lopsided than it was. Not a great few nights for the MAC. Even though Eastern will win, a 10 point lead over Howard isn't impressive.

I mean SMU hasn't even sniffed an AAC championship since they joined the conference. They've had some winning records overall but hovered around .500 in conference play. I'm assuming they do have more money and better attendance numbers than UA. Because basically every school does, especially those in better climates. It also helps that they get to play bigger schools on a regular basis as opposed to the sorry MAC schedule. I'm not sure if Memphis, USF, Tulane, Tulsa, etc would bring more people to InfoCision. But it sure as hell sounds more exciting than directional Michigan schools. Unfortunately we'll never see it.

Literally our only option to get out of the MAC. But that will never happen. For some reason UA is completely content being in the worst FBS conference.

SMU has no business being in the ACC. I don't get this. Aside from the Dallas market, they bring nothing to the table in any sport. It would be like Akron going to the BigTen.

Kent State has to have the ugliest branding/uniforms across all sports in Division 1. Just atrocious. Also Kent celebrating an interception down 42-6? 😂

I would assume the BigTen feels the same way about Maryland and Rutgers. What do they bring to the table in that conference other than the NYC market?

I know UA isn't going anywhere, but man it would be nice to get out of the MAC. Yeah I'm beating a dead horse and it's completely unrealistic. But hypothetically could we pull a UConn and go Big East in everything but football? Could the some of the top MAC, AAC, Sun Belt schools break off and form their own conference? I mean for all the hate the AAC gets they still have Memphis, Navy, USF, etc.

I think the reason I like the current uniforms so much is that they really remind me of these throwbacks. The look fits so well with the new logo, the only thing missing now is maybe some stripes on the helmet. The team probably wouldn't spring for a whole new uniform set for one game a season. But I think that you're on to something. Maybe every Wagon Wheel matchup they make sure to go gold helmet, blue or white jersey and gold pants. The more traditional combos. Just like the Browns always go brown over orange or white over orange against Pittsburgh.
