The best part about feeling this pain is that I get to go through it tomorrow afternoon as well. Just a great way to spend my weekends.

This team could be 3-1 or even 4-0. But also 0-4 if not for a miracle fumble recovery. I don't know what to think.

This is really the only way Akron wins. I have zero faith in the offense.

Undercuffler single handedly cost us this game. How do you not even throw the ball on 4th down, but also lose that much yardage.

Just like last week, the plays are there. The opponent isn't great. But bad mistakes will cost the Zips a chance to win this game.

DJ had the entire right side of the field wide open if he wanted to run. Still think that rule is so weird. You can toe tap and go forwards and it's a catch. You keep your toe down and touch with your heel and it's out.

Going into every weekend I'm always excited to watch both teams play. I talk myself into thinking this week will be different. After all these years you'd think I'd learn my lesson 😂.

I've been kicked in the man berries enough for one night. Don't expect the Zips to ever match up well with an SEC team. But someday I'd like to see a competent competitive football team. This team has been the opposite of that for way too long. This season looks like more of the same.

I'm shocked that Irons get sacked so much. It's almost like waiting for the playclock to hit 0 every time tells the defense exactly when the ball will be snapped.

At least the Zips got that one field goal. That was pretty cool. On to Indiana. I'm sure that will go well.

There's no better combo than NE Ohio football teams and shooting themselves in the foot. No Browns this weekend so this is the only football team I have to root for. I'm glad they keep the self destructive tradition alive for me.

Cool...a field goal. I get that we have no shot to beat Kentucky. But 3 points off an interception does nothing.

I'm sure the penalty was legitimate but why did they wait so long to throw the flag for ineligible man downfield? That's usually pretty obvious and called immediately. Also can't believe the Kentucky fans actually booing their holding call that brought back the TD. Do they spend too much time watching basketball that they don't know the rules of football?

Buffalo lost to Fordham. Imagine losing to an FCS. That must be rough.

The third one was by far the worst. Just because at that point in the game, the most important thing the QB can do is not turn the ball over. Yet on second down he floated a ball right to the defense. I don't get why it's so difficult for the Zips to have even a mediocre QB. We don't need Frye or Getsy. We literally just need a guy who can manage the game, hit wide open WRs and not hurt us. As a fan of NE Ohio sports, my two football teams just can't get it right. They have no idea how to handle the QB position, constantly play down to competition and have games filed with self inflicted errors.

This is probably the worst I've ever felt after a win. But damn, we needed that. In the grand scheme of things 1-3 isn't much better than 0-4. Just hope this gives the team a little momentum going forward.
