Down the stretch every shot inside the paint they'd say "Jihad misses and no foul." Like they couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that a guy can shoot the ball and actually miss, or get blocked without being fouled. At one point during the game they also mentioned how Ball State and Akron had been two of the top teams in the MAC for a long time. That seemed odd to me so I looked it up. Since 2000 they've had like 6 winning seasons.

Did Nate even hit the ball on purpose? It looked like he dunked and the momentum just sort of knocked the ball into the crowd. That foul on Tribble when he got tackled from behind was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. The fact that the announcers didn't even question half the calls against the Zips and Balls fans are whining blows my mind.

I went the opposite way when the Zips took a lead earlier in the second half. I think my $5 donation to FanDuel was the main reason we won.

We're witnessing arguably the greatest Zips basketball player of all time and a program that has consistently been at the top of the MAC for like 20 years. People don't seem to give a damn and it makes no sense. Yes the JAR sucks and yes a 9 pm game is brutal. But this team deserves so much better.

I'd bet the BG players were talking trash when they were shooting 1000%. Tribble probably had enough and was ready to throw it back. I'm not sure him fouling out is going to hurt the Zips as much as these TV commentators are expecting it to.

I feel like I say this every home game. But man this crowd is such an embarrassment. We have a very talented team and they deserve so much better.

Obviously I wanted the Zips to win. But listening to those idiots openly cheering for NKU the whole game, I really wanted to shut them up. Multiple times they were celebrating because they felt NKU had the game won. But Freeman had other ideas. This one felt good!

This play-by-play guy is already driving me insane. He just acted like that dunk after the whistle was the greatest thing to ever happen on a basketball court and he's been reacting the same way to every made NKU bucket.

I actually think I like that floor better than the JAR. While the paint/logos are exactly the same, it seems like the wood has more contrast to it which is kinda cool. Unless it's just the photo. I'm happy that the basketball teams have somewhere other than the JAR to practice. Now it's time to fix that place.

For some reason I thought Chris Payton Jr was a senior last season. I'm really irritated we have to see his stupid face for another season. At least Carry is gone.

Great finish by the Zips. If not for that rough stretch of chucking up quick threes, I feel like this would have been a 30+ point win.

I'm glad I could pick up where I left off and watch the ending on YouTube TV this morning. It's much more enjoyable watching when you know it ends in a win.

I went to bed when it was 27-10 and woke up to see the Zips won?! Heck yes!
