Pretty sure a YMCA team could beat the Cavs shooting this way.

With every run I just expect Miami to go down the court and hit multiple 3's. There's no gameplan from them other than just making almost every shot.

This is embarrassing and inexcusable. We should be blowing this team out. Good season everyone.

So I guess they are just going to make every shot this entire game. Cool.

Seems like Toledo is shooting 90% on mid range jumpers and we're giving up easy layups all game. This game is way too close for comfort.

Today we are all Western Michigan Broncos fans.

To me OU and Kent are basically on the same level of hate. Especially with Boals as coach.

The Trackside Grill was probably my favorite place to eat on campus when I was at UA. There used to be some decent stores in there too. But it was usually a ghost town. Were any of those places still open the past few years?

They spent a good amount of time on Cleveland Browns Daily, of all places, talking about the Zips during the opening segment. Probably because the producer is a BG grad. Regardless they had nothing much praise for Groce and the team he's put together. They're rooting for the Zips to win the MAC and hopefully make a run.

This team is insane. Have we ever won by almost 40 points in the MAC tournament before? I feel like most games are relatively close. Guess it was dumb of me to take BG to cover.

When I was at UA I always heard my friends say "Man I wish every basketball game was like that." It drove me crazy because every game WOULD be like that if people showed up more than once a season. Judging by the average crowds you would think the Zips won 5 games a year, not 20+. Every soccer game was like that regardless of opponent or weather. People would literally stand the entire game and didn't care. It was always fun.

Embarrassing is probably the best way to describe the JAR. It's not the worst in D1 or even the MAC, but it's not something to be proud of. For as much success as the basketball program has seen over the past 20 years we definitely deserve better.

Nobody thought KD would ever leave and then it happened and he was about as Akron as they come. Groce has a son on the team and probably wants his family to stay put. I do think UA needs to put some serious money into the JAR if they want to keep him around. The new practice facility is a big step in the right direction. But we can only ignore the big ugly elephant in the room long enough.

Between the Cavs and the Zips tonight was an awesome night for basketball. Stressful but fun.

We were due for a clunker and losing to the middest team in the MAC is just that. It happens and I'd rather it be during the regular season than tournament time.

Anyone else take the Akron moneyline when it was +560? Because I did!

This season was their first in Division 1 for all sports. It's got to be a tough sell for recruits because they aren't allowed to compete in the postseason for like 4 years or something.

Seeing OSU gear everywhere is usually annoying. But on Saturday, the fact that all of those people were miserable makes me happy. Especially since 99% of them didn't attend that school and are just frontrunners.

I'll always remember Terry Bowden saying you go from losing big to losing small to winning small and then winning big. I think this season we went from losing small to winning small. Hopefully we reached a turning point for this program and can use this momentum moving forward.

My thoughts exactly. We have 3 wins and are only up 7. After one offensive play Toledo is right back to the 40 anyway.

Sure, sign me up. It would be nice to beat Duquesne by 30 points a few times.
