Nobody on here is making "excuses". Its a logical discussion that doesn't fit some agendas, but whatever. We all go to games and are diehard Zips fans and want more people to come. What the hell would our incentive be to make "exuses" as to why people don't go or don't draw as well as other programs? Comparing Akron to VCU is laughable. Comparing the MAC to the A-10 is laughable. The "back in my day" crowd loves to talk about how it was so much better back then. I'm pretty sure I was apart of multiple students attendance records in 2012/2013.

Won't act like the OL run blocking was great, but the way that play is drew up is horrible. It is way too slow to develop. The RBs after Ball didn't help either as they hesitate rather than hit the hole.

I can't wait to see him run this year. Glad to hear the NCAA got it right.

Don't know if anyone has saw, but the Akron social media accounts have been posting pictures with Zippy and Kent St's mascot together. Something is supposed to be announced on 2/13. It is probably something dumb, but I also wonder if it is some sort of partnership. I'm sure LAZipsfan is excited if so!

I can see it. I just watched both senior highlight tapes and I think White is quicker/faster, high points the ball better, and catches cleaner though. Also worth noting White has been a complete bust so far, although he has mostly been injured. I think my concern is that nobody reputable seems to be talking about Lane at all. Though I would say him being invited to the combine is a good sign.

All 3 of them are, actually. One of them even a 3 star recruit. I know how much you like stars.

Not that I disagree, but its hard to be in sync when you are separated and can't see the people leading chants.

Trust me man, I agree with you 99% of the time. I remember someone else advocating the same last year vs Wisconsin and I disagreed. We lost Ball, Young, and various other injuries that game I'm sure. PSU is going to be a preseason top 5 team. I remember reading somebody say Woody potential being out to start the season lessens their expectations. Well, I say the result of the first 2 games should not change depending on who plays and who doesnt. Long shot in hell to beat PSU in Happy Valley to open the season and there is no way in hell we should lose to UAPB. I am competitor, but I wouldn't hate it if some players were "eased" back in. A slim chance to beat a powerhouse is a lot to mortgage your season on when you aren't loaded with depth. But then again I enjoyed our "close" battle in person with them a few years ago and the almost win at Michigan is one of my favorite memories of my Zips fandom lol.
