You guys don't really believe the U didn't know Jerome Lane Jr. played for Akron football do you? I have trouble not believing it was a joke, albeit a bad one.

Poke will be a fine player. Not a go to guy in the post probably ever most likely. But he has his role and plays it well IMO. Growing a few more inches wouldn't hurt, but unlikely. Zeke light.

Forsythe was a back up and and Deji was basically a non factor his entire career until his senior year. Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. We would've got our asses kicked no matter what.

Sounds like you belong to both of those groups that you thought was so hilarious earlier. There have been plenty of trouble makers in my time as a Zips fan. Abreu, Harney, Diggs, Tree, McKnight. I might even be forgetting some. Its refreshing to see that appears to be no longer the case.

They were all dumb. crap on this team all you want but they were gathering votes for a lot of the season and probably would have been ranked if they won 2 more games before losing. The 12-13 team was ranked #25 for a whole day before they lost I believe. Hardly some large gap between what each accomplished.

He has played better recently. Not enough to warrant minutes over Utomi though.

What an embarrassment. Embarrassing that the team let a freshman light their asses up. Embarrassing that the season is nearly over and we still don't want to feed the focal point of our offense. Embarrassing that the focal point of our offense is a liability at the end of close games because he can't make his free throws. Embarrassing that a senior on his senior night acted like an underclass-man and lost his composure. Embarrassing and indefensible for Coach Dambrot to go with Aaron Jackson of Utomi after said senior fouls out. Most of all, embarrassing that we blew a 15 point lead at home to freaking Miami. This isn't the team to win that first NCAA game.

Plenty of faces shown here if you are curious who is still on the team. Ball still looks freaking chiseled. I hope he has a great senior year and gets a shot in the NFL. Seems like a guy who deserves it.
