Hot dang. Quite Odell Beckham-ish.

If I settled down in Akron post-grad, it would have been the Valley I think. Obviously its all personal preference. The Valley, downtown, Highland Square, and Montrose area are all attractive for younger people.

In recent years (Akron specific), I can only think of Chisholm getting a chance with Pitt. As for the Browns, seems illogical to judge the current regime based on past regime's actions. Jatavis has or will have a visit with them. Local talent that has played for the Browns right off the top of my head is Charlie Frye, Josh Cribbs, and Abe Elam.

My sentiments regarding the law school echo what others above have said. There is an awesome dog park about 10 minutes from campus. http://www.doggoes.com/parks/ohio/bow-wow-beach-dog-park-silver-springs-park-stow I think the area is pretty awesome to live in. Low cost of living as you know. Not sure how great the market is for Law grads, however. You can drive an hour and do just about anything you can think of in the Akron/Canton/Cleveland area. Beaches, national parks, professional sports, hall of fames, museums, etc. I'm originally from a few hours away and glad I moved here.

My God. 1) I've never been in Boyett's situation, nor do I know the exact details of what happened, but I'm not going to pretend to know exactly how I would handle it. 2) There is quite a difference between you "letting your friend in" (read:him knowingly being in your apartment) vs someone unknowingly being in your apartment at 3am in the morning in an area where robberies are quite prevalent. 3) Whoever's coach and/or boss we are talking about has no authority to infringe on your 2nd amendment right with what is presumed LEGALLY owned. 4) You don't need any license to legally own a handgun in Ohio. Just be 21 and pass a background check. 5) If Pratt himself agreed it was an accident, take your tin foil hats off and take what he said at face value. He has no incentive to cover for somebody who shot him.

Win more games and/or beat better teams. It's not rocket science. Winning your conference tournament helps quite a bit as well.

I agree with that. I also think it shows how worthless RPI really is by showing how the ranking can be "gamed".

one of our more recent OOC opponents in MTSU just had one of the biggest upsets in tournament history. I think its reasonable to consider them a similar caliber program to us. What do we need to do better?

And that would do...what? Its not common for violent hits, concussions, etc in grade school and junior high. In fact, I would argue that instilling proper tackling technique while they are younger would be the better way to go.

We all know Marcus is a stud, but hopefully the 5 sacks had more to do with him and not the O line...
