  1. James King, transfer from Miami, is listed on the roster. However, his bio says that he must sit out 2016. http://www.gozips.com/sports/fball/2016-17/bios/king_james_8jh3?view=bio
  2. Thanks. After I posted it, I figured I was oversimplifying it.
  3. This probably couldn't be anymore obvious, yet I just now realized it. If they are on the roster,I think its a safe bet that they are eligible. Ex. We know JoJo Natson was with the team all last year and yet he wasn't listed on the 2015 roster, nor were any other transfers that were known. http://www.gozips.com/sports/fball/2015-16/roster
  4. That Miami board makes it seem like he was JUCO bound. Our roster mentions nothing of it and says he is a redshirt freshman. I'm guessing he came here right out of high school and had to wait a year to get his grades in order?
  5. Well under Bowden we've had Avis Commack, Moses McCray, CJ MIzell had some FSU connection IIRC, and I'd imagine the FSU connection played a role in getting Brian Bell.
  6. Sort of a disappointing performance for Barber, but he is sure to be back. Thanks for making us proud!
  7. Amazing. Top 3 runner in the world. Congrats!!
  8. Looks like the final is in the pouring rain. Wonder how many times these guys have done that.
  9. I tried to find Jatavis' hudl (to no avail) to compare, but I can't help but be reminded of him when I watch this film...
  10. Indeed. Figure it would have been canned. Still like the potential of it regardless.
  11. I think Miami's caliber is being overstated some. Yes we all know their history, but they have been nothing close to that for a better part of a decade now (maybe longer, but I don't care to look). Maybe Richt will change that, but I don't see it seeing that it seemed like he always underachieved at UGA. In fact, Pitt has finished higher than Miami in the ACC the past 2 seasons. Don't get me wrong..I'd love to get Miami at home, but I don't think its much better than us getting Pitt. Buffalo lucked out and got Baylor at home a few seasons ago. And it seems like MSU plays at a directional Michigan school every few years. Those are real scores. We've got Iowa State next year at home. Not as good as the others mentioned above, but still a good chance to beat a P5 team at home with what should be a bigger crowd. That's a good way to raise awareness.
  12. The players...probably the worst #teamohio offense yet.... This must be going over my head...
  13. Figured I would follow up with this now that the roster is updated for camp. Still missing: Alvin Davis Domonick Holley Apparent new members of the recruiting class (true freshman): Bryce Dixon, WR, Green Hope HS, NC - 3 star WR who had some P5 offers. Appears he was an early enrollee at NC St and left in the Spring. Not sure how that affects this years eligibility, but I'm also not sure its a concern with our talent and depth. http://247sports.com/Player/Bryce-Dixon-75675 Jerry Fitschen, PK/P, Orange, CA - I think I remember ready about this guy. Maybe a walk on? Demarkus Glover, LB, St. Petersburg, FL - Can't find anything about offers, but this dude has size and speed and likes to hit! http://www.hudl.com/video/3/2890002/5721cacd90eead5d90d0e1d2 Austin Sample, OL, Sylvania, OH - cant find much on this guy. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/1535307/5721c0bc9a91677e748edd75 Andrew Siegman, OL, Brecksville, OH - I think I remember this guy mentioned before as well. Guessing walk on?
  14. I would guess he is eligible considering he wasn't on a team last season. http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2016/03/ex-rutgers_player_darian_dailey_avoids_jail_time_f.html http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Darian-Dailey-34720/RecruitInterests
  15. Maybe he will be the new Tree of the NAIA.
  16. Don't even have to look it up to know that GT's 2nd sentence is incorrect. I should've majored in journalism.
  17. I agree. I like the idea. I have to wonder if it will be just like every other promotion though. Go to see whatever/get whatever is being given out and go home.Hopefully I'm not. Those who stay will get to see a nice Zips butt whooping.
  18. re Cooper
  19. For whatever reason, I thought the football team stayed in Spicer. But now that I think of it, it might have been a few years since I've heard that.
  20. With players reporting for camp yesterday, it appears the roster has been updated. Newcomers: James King, OLB, transfer from Miami. Must sit out 2016. http://247sports.com/Player/James-King-32214?Institution=9093 Michael Butler, Redshirt Senior DB transfer from Western Michigan. Assuming he is eligible. Jon Semerene, PK, Miami. Assuming he is out this year. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/15010862/miami-hurricanes-dismiss-kicker-jon-semerene Logan Tulley-Tillman is finally on there. Freddie Simmons Jr. WR. Even though its not listed on there, he looks like an original commit to NC State. He is class of 2015 and was redshirted...so I'm not sure if that means he is eligible or not. http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Freddie-Simmons-43426/RecruitInterests There are also some new freshman/redshirt freshman/sophomores added. I'm assuming we recruited most of them..but its so hard to keep track of with all of the non qualifiers and such.
  21. Never would have thought Junius would be higher on the depth chart than Williams when they were being recruited. Could be a combination of injury issues/the new "toy" in MTB at the position.
  22. Only TWO healthy DT and about half of the rest of the defense under some sort of suspension it seems. Great opportunity, Rodney. Go get it!
  23. Mich OL still not on roster, Ball added. Looks like Tillman still here though..https://twitter.com/LoganTillman
  24. You can also click on that little magnifying glass on the bottom right of the PDF....
