  1. pro tip: after you have a sideline warning, its best to follow it. Its also best not to spike the ball in celebration after a turnover.
  2. I hope we beat the snot out of these guys.
  3. I appreciate the update, Dave. I was not at the game and did not see the cameras show Pohl on the sideline, so I had no clue what may be wrong with him. I'm glad I can at least get your opinion, since our beat writer apparently doesn't care to find out what is wrong with our starting quarterback who has led us to 8 wins in the last 11 games, or at the most, doesn't care to share it with anyone.
  4. Luckily Hendrix is a senior.
  5. Very encouraging to see Chisholm not only hit the hole, but let his blocks develop down the field and cut off of them. Nice catch by Bickley that drive as well.
  6. I don't like that fade call. I'm not sure it has worked for us once this season for whatever reason. Just seems like such a waste of a play.
  7. Two easy drops and one fumble by our WR corps in 2 drives.
  8. More drops. Sigh
  9. but he still quit at...Arizona was it?
  10. I'd be a little less trusting of your own opinion after the Pitt/Akron game.
  11. ^ But you go to games...
  12. I still say that the WRs and the drop problem is a bigger issue than Pohl's play. Even our best WR in D'Orazio seems to have at least a drop a game. When discussing the redzone offense, sometimes you have to take a deeper look instead of just looking at stats. Lets keep in mind the number of missed FGs the first two games, as well as the 4th down attempts out of desperation during the Penn St and Marshall games. If we weren't playing from well behind, those would have been easy field goals and the red zone offense would probably look a lot closer to average than putrid.
  13. I said to thow yesterday out the window. The hill was mostly full the first two home games.
  14. Just because I mentioned it doesnt mean I was 'busting' him. I would have liked to see him mention Akron along with all of his other teams that won.
  15. at least two drives.
  16. Great comparison to the 2012 Zips, JZ. Both Miami and UMASS scare me despite their records. They have been competitive, just cant get the Ws. I'm almost certain it will be closer than the experts predict. Akron better be ready to play.
  17. ^ saw that last week.
  18. a little disheartening that Akron wasnt mentioned in this tweet LeBron James ‏@KingJames 2m2 minutes ago Great weekend for football for me!! STV, BUCKEYES, COWBOYS & BROWNS all win. Nice!!! Congrats fellas
  19. I think it was at least two drives
  20. what an amazing day of college football. thats why its the best!
  21. just so we can finally put this to rest, here is a excerpt from GT's article: That offensive chill led to Bowden turning to backup Tommy Woodson in the second quarter for a spark for the second time in as many weeks. “I was missing a lot of things I shouldn’t be missing,” Pohl said. “Coach [A.J.] Milwee said I was playing immature and I needed to focus.”
  22. I'm excited to watch Toledo, OU, Can't St, and WMU games.
  23. Loved the unis! For those who like to spend time discussing minor details, the 'Z' looked black to me yesterday. Different than the blue of the week before. Guessing the black Z gets broken out for the alt uniforms.
