  1. Wasn't it supposed to be announced "tomorrow" yesterday?
  2. Thanks for sharing. Interesting read. Guy definitely seems a little out there, but it ultimately comes down to people not being able to think for themselves, IMO.
  3. With your opinion of Bickley, what does that say about the other WRs on our roster? Do you not think they are D1 material? If they are, and Bickley isn't, why is he producing more than them? Its not like Bickley is a Tyler Williams who has been around for a long time and never produced. I'm not arguing that Bickley's stats are/were good, but its better than most other players at the position. Have to take what we can get.
  4. Wasnt Bickley the 2nd leading WR on the team last year as a true freshman? 3 receptions from being #1 btw. Obviously a player his size has his limitations, but I enjoy seeing what he does once the ball gets in his hands. He made a great catch while taking a big shot down the seam last week if im not mistaken..
  5. I'll wait to make my prediction once we get word on Pohl (if we ever get word on Pohl). Woodson didn't impress me much at all yesterday. He definitely could have played better.
  6. Was just thinking about this today. At minimum expectations (beating teams we are clearly better than), we should win 8 games this season. This would be the most wins in the history of the program at the D-1 level.
  7. 3 more gets us to 7-5. I see 4 games left on the schedule we have no business losing. Other two are probably toss ups.
  8. It was one play. The offense line is about as good as you could reasonably expect considering all that was replaced from last season. The coach is doing the best with what he has to work with. The best he has to work with is a converted DL unfortunately.Converting players from the other side of the ball and starting them should tell you all you need to know about the depth/talent of the unit. Coach can't make him not whiff a block.
  9. Are you trying to say you aren't happy with Peterson? I think he has done a fine job. I'm sure he knows a lot more about the talent on the line than us. I didn't notice limited playing time for Mizell, but I also didn't notice his play much. He did have the fumble recovery. Was Lane getting PT in place of Mizell? Great game by Lane by the way. Looks like he may turn into a good one!
  10. pro tip: after you have a sideline warning, its best to follow it. Its also best not to spike the ball in celebration after a turnover.
  11. I hope we beat the snot out of these guys.
  12. I appreciate the update, Dave. I was not at the game and did not see the cameras show Pohl on the sideline, so I had no clue what may be wrong with him. I'm glad I can at least get your opinion, since our beat writer apparently doesn't care to find out what is wrong with our starting quarterback who has led us to 8 wins in the last 11 games, or at the most, doesn't care to share it with anyone.
  13. Luckily Hendrix is a senior.
  14. Very encouraging to see Chisholm not only hit the hole, but let his blocks develop down the field and cut off of them. Nice catch by Bickley that drive as well.
  15. I don't like that fade call. I'm not sure it has worked for us once this season for whatever reason. Just seems like such a waste of a play.
  16. Two easy drops and one fumble by our WR corps in 2 drives.
  17. More drops. Sigh
  18. but he still quit at...Arizona was it?
  19. I'd be a little less trusting of your own opinion after the Pitt/Akron game.
  20. ^ But you go to games...
  21. I still say that the WRs and the drop problem is a bigger issue than Pohl's play. Even our best WR in D'Orazio seems to have at least a drop a game. When discussing the redzone offense, sometimes you have to take a deeper look instead of just looking at stats. Lets keep in mind the number of missed FGs the first two games, as well as the 4th down attempts out of desperation during the Penn St and Marshall games. If we weren't playing from well behind, those would have been easy field goals and the red zone offense would probably look a lot closer to average than putrid.
  22. I said to thow yesterday out the window. The hill was mostly full the first two home games.
  23. Just because I mentioned it doesnt mean I was 'busting' him. I would have liked to see him mention Akron along with all of his other teams that won.
  24. at least two drives.
