curious to what you think could have been accomplished by the MAC commish complaining about the Michigan game.

I hope I am not coming off negative, because I really try not to be and try to look at both sides...but while the Miss St win looked good at the time, I'm not sure you could really call it good in hindsight. Miss St finished with a record of 21-12 and lost in the first round of the NIT.

I think it is fair to compare ourselves with the other top dog in the MAC, considering many of us consider ourselves the "king" of the conference. For your question, I am tempted to say yes. Nobody outside of the MAC thinks anything of Akron, and its because we have failed to perform on a national stage. 1 win in the NCAAs probably comes with an upset of a top team in a big time conference, as well as some national recognition. I would say that are program has more consistency than OU, but they have the bigger wins that people remember, that is why I think I would say yes.

Just a thought...Would you trade the recent success (say 5 years) of our program for the success of OU's program? Why/why not?

If my aunt had ____ , she'd be my uncle. If we beat them, we'd still have to beat Toledo, which is no small task. I'm content with this season. We have won the games we were supposed to and the future seems to be bright. I'm alright with us not getting a bowl game. We would be blown out. Simply not a very good team.
