kind of curious what kind of attendance this game is going to bring. Wichita St seems like a pretty packed house considering there tip-off was at 12am local time as well. A weaker crowd can only be a good thing for the Zips.

I actually disagree. I do not know specifics, but building a 13k arena with no other arena downtown in a city the size of Cleveland seems alright to me. Like DiG hinted at, it seems the building of the Q killed any chance it ever had. Seems more unfortunate than anything.

I feel like wins over Ball St, Toledo, and Buffalo/BG should be enough for NIU to jump Fresno, but I'm a little biased. Its also worth noting that Fresno's game against Colorado was "postponed" so they would end up with 1 less win than the Huskies.

Quincy Diggs playing last year would not have prevented our starting PG from getting caught trafficking marijuana, solve the guard's back problems, nor stop the other guys from getting the flu. I stand by my post, VCU may have only beaten us by 30, rather than 46 with Diggs.

this. Seemed like we were up by ~20 the majority of the game, and even with the comeback at the end, the game was never really in doubt.

Thought Pat played well, better than usual, anyways. Tree's shots didn't seem to be falling for the most part, but besides that he did everything else great as always. Kretz and McAdams hit some nice shots off of the bench.Diggs is going to be key for us this season if we are going to do anything in the tourney. Thought he played great excluding the turnovers. I agree with the posters above about the intros. I'm glad that type of stuff is improving, but they still have a ways to go. Why not just shut all of the lights off instead of leaving the bleacher lights on for whatever reason during the player introductions? I like that the band is now up top, but if you are going to put all of the students on one side of the bleachers, please make it a true student section and make sure it is ONLY students who sit there. It is crowded enough without families sitting there. Think I need to see the chiropractor after last night. Also, what are the seats behind the hoop where the band used to be now? Looked half Rowdies/half regular fans. Pick one or the other, IMO. Bottom line: 1-0. beat the gaels

Hillsdale is a good D2 squad. While embarrassing, I wouldn't put much stock into it. A few years ago Syracuse lost to D2 Le Moyne, only to win the Big East, finish #4 in the country, and a sweet 16 appearance.
