Yes it seems like the staff is still engaging with him on twitter, he hasn't committed elsewhere yet, and hasnt had any additional offers roll in. Fingers crossed.

Leading RB for Louisville in 2021. Ran for 700 yards. Fell out of favor in 3022 for whatever reason.

I thought he played well in the 2nd half after that comment. Like I said, unsure if his play has really dropped down a level from the end of last year or not, but that's just the feel I get. Stats could say I'm wrong and I could just be taking his play for granted. He has higher expectations than everyone else on the team (not that others don't need to be all stars in their role), fair or not. We're counting on him.

I don’t pay as much attention to the rest of the MAC as some of you, but I would think Tavari has to be an early contender for MAC freshman of the year.

Sammy Hunter break out game! I’ll say this regarding Freeman, and this is strictly based off feel instead of stats, so I may be off base, but we need more from him. Feels like he’s not really close to the form he was in at the end of last season. The impact plays don’t stick out as much.

I’d be curious to know how attendance stacks up now vs compared to when we had a department under similar circumstances in prior years. While marketing is something we all want, I’d assume there was substantiation to cutting marketing as opposed to other positions (for example maybe the marketing department increases s attendance by 10% and another $200k in revenue, but maybe the staffs combined total pay is $300k. Doesn’t make sense if you’re looking to cut costs.

Surprising to see us take on what appears to be 3 additional scholarship high school players yesterday. I saw a few other recent offers put out and with Lewis leaving at Kent, a few other guys might be under second consideration as well. This would either mean we are taking on less transfer portal players than one would think or there are more players leaving we don't know about. I hope its the latter, as I like what we are bringing in for the future, but we need more experienced help now.

Haven't watched film yet, but seems a bit light which may have played a part in him being lower recruited compare to what coach Rodriguez has pulled in so far here. OL and DL and probably the toughest to get in the transfer portal, so probably a guy that will sit for a few years and hopefully grows into his frame.

We were at 85 this year with the help of players being in school an extra year and the allowance of replacing up to 7 guys who enter the TP, giving us a max of 32 rather than 25. You’re correct about the numbers from prior years though. 10+ under during Arth era.
