  1. Good for her. Not really a surprise with that job open. She certainly raised the level of the MAC. Hopefully Buffalo will do a better job of replacing her than CMU did replacing their coach.
  2. I'm surprised they have them there, so close to Kent. I wonder if they have them at the Tallmadge store, too.
  3. I was just agreeing with you.
  4. Loses NCAA Tournament game Saturday night. Takes new job Sunday morning. Classy.
  5. Missouri seems to disagree. He's on his way to Columbia according to Terry Pluto.
  6. I think the thing that really hurt Freeman on that call was he bolted to the spot right in front of the ref. For a second I wondered what he was doing.
  7. That guy's considered one of the top refs, too. Has worked Final Fours.
  8. I rewatched the video and that's exactly what happened. They even have a close up of him saying time out and reacting to not getting it. Needed to call it sooner. I really don't have much confidence in Wynn hitting a three pointer there, he barely hit the rim earlier on a similar shot, but who knows?
  9. Time to start making some shots.
  10. Kind of a disappointing loss to a bad ACC team without two of its top players. Good year overall. It will be interesting to see how they do next year without Dawson.
  11. Beware of the "Official Watch Party." Sounds like not much has changed since the women made the tournament and the official watch party was in the valley at Johnny J's. No one from the U was there and I had to get the unaware manager to tune in the game and we missed the first 5 minutes.
  12. Now that it's out there, this is why we hired him isn't it?
  13. If you guys say so, but it's a campus with dozens of buildings they could pull staff from and spring break isn't until next week so somebody is running the JAR.
  14. This may have been addressed in other threads, but I couldn't find it easily. New turf coming is official based on an email today from the Akron Marathon Race Series folks. They had to change the course maps for the June 25th race to account for the turf replacement. Packet pick up is in the JAR and the finish line is in Coleman Commons. Both are usually inside Infocision.
  15. I'm sure it works for some, but it would make more sense to have the "official" party more centrally located. I guess the gametime is too late for the JAR? I did enjoy watching the soccer championship there. Have fun if you go.
  16. Did anyone on this forum actually go to Portland this time? I went in 2009, but used frequent flier miles and was able to leave on short notice.
  17. Great location. 🙄 Uniontown? Really? How about someplace in Akron? With a huge screen? Like the centrally located JAR?
  18. Part of Mogadore is in Summit and part is in Portage County. At least that's what an old coworker of mine from Mogadore used to say.
  19. Charter flights are a wonderful thing, especially for a trip to the great northwest.
  20. Wake was 15-16 and 4-14 in the ACC. I'm surprised they haven't already bolted for spring break. Looks like Zips have a decent chance in this one.
  21. We didn't sell out our allotment in 2009, so I'm guessing that will be the case again.
  22. Maybe, but when you get down to a 14 vs a 14 seed there can't be that much of a difference.
  23. Would it really have upset the the delicate balance of the bracket if the Zips played Providence in Buffalo and S Dakota State played UCLA?
  24. Usually on Monday, I think.
  25. I already used up my frequent flier miles for that trip in 2009.
