A little bit in Corcoran's defense, the Detroit Mercy program was a dumpster fire and everyone left. She certainly would have contributed this year as a backup to Camp. Not sure what her latest reason for leaving was. The Miami player averaged 8 pts over 2 years, so it doesn't sound like a huge loss.

If she's only been offered as a sophomore, never committed and has another year of high school left it's not really an exit, is it? If Faith leaves, that's a bad sign for her getting her sister.

I was wondering about this. I have some old MAC info that indicated our bench would be on the left the sections they showed for us didn't make sense. I thought about commenting, but section numbers, etc have changed up there since the renovation.

Thank goodness I'm not a Toledo or Ohio fan. Preceding game ran over and supposedly it was streaming on the CBS Sports app. Every icon that said Toledo-Ohio let me to the CUSA game. 😡😡

Not exactly. Ali was on this team and a key piece last year. He certainly would have helped this year assuming he wouldn't have the same injuries here. Hopefully Hunter can keep stepping up. Hankerson has been disappointing.

As much as I would have to liked to have seen Coach Jackson be more successful, I can see the argument to move on. Yes 74-68 overall is a winning record (barely), but I suspect 40-50 in the MAC is the main number and finishing 8-10 after a 4-1 start is not a good way to keep your job when your contract is up. If she hasn't received a good explanation for not being renewed as she says, she certainly deserves better after 15 years at the university. Although the numbers above certainly seem to explain it.

Zips are #6 seed and will play #3 Ball State in the last game on Wednesday. I've tried to attach the whole bracket graphic, but it says the file is too big. Worked fine for men's.

Women rally 21-8 in 4Q to beat CMU 61-54. Probably not the first time a bad CMU team has failed to close this year, but credit to the Zips for coming back on the road.

As much as I usually hate losing to the Golden Flushes, this one doesn't bother me that much. We whipped them in Cleveland last year and at the JAR earlier this year. Never folded tonight and took them to OT at their place. No reason we can't beat them in Cleveland next week if it happens. X needs to step up though. Carry really outplayed him tonight obviously.

No one shot it well, but they kept within striking distance after getting blitzed 21-10 in the 1Q 🙄. Gotta win on Saturday at Mt. Pleasant to avoid a bunch of tiebreakers. No excuses for losing to 3-14 CMU. I'm gonna guess that if Buffalo loses to Western, they would be in. They beat EMU twice and split with Buffalo. Not sure what tiebreakers come after that.
