I went and got mine. Football team was already being trounced by 2 pm gametime.They promoted it on Facebook 3-4 times in days before game. I wanted to see Maryland and our women did much better than expected.They also gave away cardboard Queen of the Court crowns, which I passed on. Bobbleheads went to first 500 fans. Announced attendance was 656. I bet there are leftovers somewhere.

Worst "White-out" ever. I can't even find ten people who appear to be wearing the same white shirt.

Numbers are GOLD trimmed in blue and Akron is blue letters trimmed in GOLD. Finally after at least six years we have a uniform with both school colors!

At the women's game last night, the stats boards almost always had team stats on one board and individual stats on the other on each side. I never saw individual stats tonight during the game. A few people around me were grumbling and/or checking their phones for the info. I also noticed the highlights they showed from last week's game were high def, but tonight's game and crowd video looked lower def again.

You'd think they'd have them already with all the ESPN3 games last year.

That was my guess too, but you'd think they'd get new cameras. Maybe they will.

Wondering why our new big bucks video board is showing low def game action. Other stuff is high def.

I gotta say I can't think of a better nickname than "Groceries" for this team considering how many players he had to go out and shop for to fill this roster. Start making the signs!

If they're going to schedule a FCS team, at least schedule a program that is decent. Pine Bluff has had one good year in the last 10 since Coleman began coaching them and is 10-35 in the last 5+. I have no interest in attending this game. It does nothing for the Zips. Also, why is this game at 6:30 and competing with the Ohio State-Oklahoma game? ESPN3 can't be that demanding about this game. Good luck drawing a crowd for this one. Probably see ya next week against Iowa State.

Selling season tickets and they don't even know where they are going to play next year yet. They are excited!

Looks like they have a nice, new 7,000 seat arena. Gee, who could use a place to play like that? That College Park District rendering looks a lot like Downtown Akron apartments, too.

I remember Walsh being sick, too. I also remember him running off court to the tunnel or locker room during the game.

Big time renovations at Houston's arena. There are no renovations at Indiana's arena. ESPN's initial report was wrong. They declined to host because the school is on spring break.

In terms of #2, you have the wrong Walker. Jaylin Walker is their second leading scorer and had a number of 20+ pt games, including 24 against Texas and 29 a couple of times. He's a dangerous player and the Zips let him get hot and did a poor job defending him on the 3s or driving.

I'm sorry now I did not take advantage of this today. My seats for these games keep getting worse, not to mention the foul, loudmouthed idiots in front of me until I moved. Why pay $34 for a ticket thru UA when you can get this deal and pretty much sit anywhere you want with thousands of seats empty for the early session? We probably could have moved into the prime school seats in the lower level anyway, considering that there looked to be a number of empty seats. I know a guy sitting near us with a young boy did.

That could expand a bit due to level of demand. I know for the championship games in the past, sections for us across the court have opened up.

I checked with the ticket office and the designated sections for us are 126/127/C126/C127. Since we will always be the higher seed it will not change from game to game depending on the opponent's seed. I expect our designated sections will expand based on demand. I know it has for championship games.

He's been sitting on the floor at the end of the bench with an ice bag on his right knee. Just took it off.
