  1. Won't the other schools have the same potential to climb due to portal additions?
  2. Like him or not and whether it has been effective or not, he's made a hell of a lot more of an effort to help his community that others in his position. My great nephew is currently attending UA on a Lebron scholarship and doing well. It's an opportunity he otherwise may not have had.
  3. Kind of bold bringing what's actually been said to the table! It's remarkable how my simple observation at the game turned into a two page debate over the merits of Lebron James.
  4. Doing on a weekday does little to promote interest and attendance.
  5. Iowa's worst QB is likely better than anyone in our QB room the last two years. I'd love for them to bring home Ethan Wright. Good kid from a good local family. He got the runaround at Cinci from different staffs, including a position switch, then a move back. He had a good bowl game last year then got moved down the depth chart again.
  6. Gardner–Webb University (Gardner–Webb, GWU, or GW) is a private Christian liberal arts university in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. It was founded as Boiling Springs High School in 1905. Gardner-Webb is a classified among "Doctoral/Professional Universities.
  7. A 54 point half for BG in the comeback.
  8. I suspect that was the deal in bringing him there. He's also the only assistant off of the bench during play.
  9. I went. A free D1 basketball game in the gym of my alma mater fifteen minutes from home. I'd have gone whether or not KD was involved. It was a great game. Duquesne came up with a steal and went down the floor to score a fast break basket with .2 left on the clock to win. KD has some players but they still seem to be lacking some cohesion. They play hard on defense. You get the sense from watching the bench interactions that KD's prepping to turn it over to Dru soon. Bradley may never return to NEO.
  10. Just a bunch of guys who put a 15 point ass-whuppin' on the Braves. As an aside, I see Duquesne played Stony Brook, coached by Geno Ford, former PCCC and Bradley coach.
  11. The little 5'8" guard from M-H, Ryan Marchal, was a scrappy player. Very much enjoyed watching him.
  12. Played hard, especially on defense. Shot looked a little flat but decent. I don't think we're going to see much of him from here on out as he's clearly the the 11th man on a team that has pretty much gone to an 8-man rotation.
  13. The 5-7 Gardner Webb Bulldogs come to the JAR Thursday to face the Zips. Caleb Robinson, a 6'4" senior guard, leads the Bulldogs in both scoring (14.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.4). 5'11" junior guard Julian Saolmauro is their second leading scorer at 13.9 ppg. The Bulldogs compete in the Big South Conference where they were predicted to finish 4th in the preseason poll, behind UNC Asheville, Radford and Winthrop. Guard DQ Nicholas, a 6'1" senior guard was named to the Big South Preseason first team and is averaging 10.6 ppg. The Bulldogs five wins have come over Erskine, Weber State, Limestone (there's one for Captain's list), Western Carolina and North Greenville.
  14. Prather in with 6 minutes left.
  15. No Prather. 3 minutes of Lyles.
  16. Nice to see Tavari out there. Groce seems to be taking time with him too as they come off of the floor.
  17. These Miami Hamilton kids are disciplined and well coached. They're not losing due to a lack of effort.
  18. An hour and a half to the game. I should probably leave now so that I can be sure to get a seat.
  19. Browns game....44 degrees at tipoff....steady rain....students on break....$10 to park....Miami Hamilton.... The Clark bookmaker has set the under/over on actual butts in the seats, exclusive of the team and staff, at 167.
  20. Less than 24 hours to this huge matchup! Excitement is building (for Evan Wilson and Zach Halligan).
  21. This principled organization caves like a cheap card table every time a little bit of pressure is put on it. If you really believe in the rules you're trying to enforce you don't cave every time there's a little push back.
  22. I assume it is for everyone (including the Miami Hamilton players).
  23. Angry child is a good look for the NCAA - https://www.si.com/college/cincinnati/basketball/ncaa-notifies-schools-two-time-transfers-could-lose-season-of-eligibility-if-they-play-during-two-week-restraining-order-window
  24. While beating two Big 10 and one Big 12 team!
