  1. Former Ohio State Running Back Warren Ball Gets Sixth Year of Eligibility at Akron I can't help but wonder where we would have been with a healthy Ball and Tommy.

  8. It's not about Jason, per se, as much as it is a part of an entire effort projecting an image of success and legacy. Also, if you read the interview with Dre Williams, he said he didn't know who Bobby Bowden was and when his dad explained, he said he realized it was a big deal to get an offer from TB. Kids from Florida, if they didn't know who Taylor was, will hear about him now with the added press he will get for his HoF nod. It isn't going to create a magnet, but it sure can't hurt.
  9. I saw these tweets last night and they really bothered me for a couple of reasons. First, I don't think it's cool to take the moment where everyone is focused on Jason Taylor and try to make it all about Jerome. I wasn't around when Jason Taylor was a big deal, but a Hall of Fame spot only get's offered to you once. I am sure Jason didn't notice, but it was a low class move by Hammond, IMHO, and Jerome only made it worse. I get that Hammond is an ambitious guy who thinks he can make a name for himself with Jerome Lane, but he has to try to show some class. Second, let's wait and see how you perform at the combine, Jerome. The NFL scouts made the mistake of overlooking Jatavis Brown. That might have something to do with why he is getting a shot at the combine. If the Zips were to promote Jerome's attendance, it would make more sense after the combine results are in. However, I am not sure promoting a player who leaves early is exactly the trend the program wants to follow. I don't begrudge him leaving early, but I am not sure it is fair for him to expect to be promoted, especially with the negative garbage he posts on social media.
  10. It's probably a bigger deal to our south FL recruits. It would be nice to feature a special event with him on one of our big recruiting events and feature posters and photos of him on our social media and in jet locations for recruiting.
  11. Zips FB needs to host a fundraiser tailgate.
  12. TB WAKR interview. He told me about it at dinner.
  13. I think WVU transfer, Mark Ellis will also count against this class, won't he? Also any update on Thaddeus Snodgrass?
  14. 5' 10"/173 40: 4.5 Meet Dre Williams He is elusive, for sure:
  15. Btw, thank Terry for raising the average to 4.8 the next time you dine with him. I will assume it's the booze talking and that you don't really mean to continue in the 2016 pattern of personal attacks.
  16. Or that averaging 4.2 wins per season over the course of 23 years took a bigger toll on the programs than fans would like to admit.
  17. He's a big boy, for sure.
  18. I agree, but wouldn't be surprised to see the kid from St. Thomas Aquinas play next year. Bowden made a pretty big deal about the fact that he is already used to batting the best WR's in the nation
  19. There seemed to be casting accusations that Woodson's injury was l in his head, last year (Honestly, I don't remember who.) Let's hope they think twice next time be for raking a player over the coals when they don't have firsthand knowledge. Get well soon, Tommy!
  20. He was back last year.
