Bowden Transfers

Recommended Posts

This thread is to discuss Zips Football Players who have transferred. Currently the only kids I know about are:

1.Brian Wagner

2.Karl Bostick

3. Patrick Nicely

4. AJ Fox

5. John Clay

Anyone know why Karl Bostick, AJ Fox, and John Clay are transferring. All three had chances of playing. If not start?

Bostick - Not any good

Fox - Beats me, but if true it certainly would be a disappointment to see him go

Clay - Never heard of him

When you were posting on page 5 of this thread

http://zipsnation.org/forums//index.php?sh...17754&st=60

you should have read page 4.

Zach will be so disappointed.

The John Clay Era comes to an end. Eerily similar to the Ryan Bain Era. :ninja:

I found page 29 of that thread to be outstanding. Page 13 was also good, but too similar to pages 7 and 31 to merit top billing. Honorable mention goes to page 17, which would have been #1 had it mentioned LeBron James or Akron U.

We are all entitled to our own opinion, but I just don't see the similarity between pages 7 and 13. True Zach had 11 of the posts on page 7 and 8 on page 13; otherwise they look pretty different to me. For instance, Buckzip had a post on 13 , but not 7. And not to pick nits with you but "Eerily similar"!! At least Ryan spent some time in Akron; John never made it out of the hood.

Instead of this can we have a thread titled:

Bowden Transfers, players who are coming in who can actually help us instead of landing at Elon or going to Lake Erie College

I don't care who leaves. I want to know who is going to stay and who is coming in to make this program better that 2-22.

Then start that thread and ignore this one. Pretty simple, no?

So, Karl Bostick is taking his talents to Elon...

Losing depth is never a good thing, but I am going to go way out on a limb here and say that Karl's departure plus Carlton Thomas' arrival equals net gain for the Zips.

(If Hilltopper's little birdie turns out to be right)

It was a 6'5" 300 lb birdie! A player who shall remain nameless, but a good source. He also told me that several more O-lineman are in our future. B):)

Imagine the droppings he would leave on a windshield.

Bostick, a 5-foot-9, 201-pounder, appeared in nine games for Akron last year as a true freshman. He totaled 82 rushing yards with one touchdown and caught four passes for 10 yards on the season.

And we care about him leaving because?????????

Although, probably those 82 yards were about 30% of our total production

Ouch! Please don't remind me. I'm just now getting out of therapy!
