Spin
Some bad news for Kaulig Racing. Troopers: Members of NASCAR team involved in WNC crash Many teams have more than one hauler, and spare cars they can roll out. Sandusky based ThorSport had a fire in their shop and was able to make the next race. They were building engines and preparing cars (race trucks) in the parking lot while insurance adjusters were inspecting the burned-out shop. Matt has the resources of Richard Childress racing supporting him, hopefully they'll be on track this weekend. Section210Zip
They issued a statement and said both cars will be on track. This was for their 2nd car that they have run part time this year. The actually just announced they are fielding 2 full time cars next year with Ross Chastian. Ross is one of the hottest up and coming drivers. This is a pretty big get for Kaulig Racing. Ross has all the talent in the world and is supper aggressive. He is the kind of guy you love when he is on your team or hate him if he is not.

Section210Zip
Matt Kaulig Racing in their first attempt to make a Cup Series race, was fast enough to get locked into the Daytona 500. They will be racing in the 1st Dual race tonight that sets the line up for the 500 on Sunday. They will also field 3 cars in the Xfinity Series on Saturday. The same drivers that went 1-2-3 at the last Daytona race. 2

Spin
It was Dinger’s first win on an oval. He’s a heck of a road racer, won several IndyCar races. But he couldn’t catch on to the ovals. Maybe he’s finally turned the corner on ovals, so to speak. Edited June 12, 2020 by Spin

Section210Zip
Everything Matt does turns to gold. His Xfinity team is the dominant team this year. He already has a Cup win in a part time effort which is the quickest a new team has won in the modern era. There is constant news of his expanding businesses. Even with all this, he is still doing what he can for the Akron area and Northeastern Ohio in general. The president of his race team, Chris Rice, is on Sirius about every other week because he is a great interview and they win about every other race. He always start with "Im at" or "just got back from" a fundraiser in Akron with Matt to raise money for The University of Akron or Zips athletics or they are raising money for the children's hospital or passing out teddy bears that the Nascar foundation raised money for. They are always using their platform to better the area. Chris is a very positive, intelligent and high energy kind of person who has the ability to make everyone around him better. He is a great example of Matt finding great people that are like minded to oversee his companies.

Let'sGoZips94
12th & 23rd place finishes for Hemric, Haley, and Kaulig Racing. Very solid. Side note: Great driving by #2 at the end. Car became 4-lanes-wide and he gave zero craps about keeping the car clean. Beautiful.

Let'sGoZips94
Kaulig Racing had a Row 3 start for today's race in California. Both cars were running Top 20 last I checked. (Disney+ is occupying my 65" TV; not what I intended to be on the screen when I bought the thing...)

Let'sGoZips94
54 minutes ago, Hilltopper said: They ended up with a 9th place finish. And 23rd or 24th. Hemric took 9th while Haley spun out on the final lap; prior, he was running 12th or so (top 15 at least). Bummer we didn't have 2 top 15 finishes, but this continued the moment carried over from a solid performance at Daytona. There was a good amount of air time given to Hemric and Kaulig Racing as well. Being connected/invested in an entire team in NASCAR is fun. Oh, and I was able to take back control of my 65" TV. I had my 2.5 year old daughter clapping for Hemric & Haley, and she said, "Go Zips!"
