Michigan State with another win over a seed...they knocked off #4 Lollaville last weekend and today , they beat #13 Georgetown 1-0

  they face the winner of #12 Va. Tech vs. James Madison in the elite 8

Indiana 2 Air Force 0

   they face the winner of #7 Notre Dame vs. #10 Virginia

 

Michigan had 2 PK shootouts during their time in the tourney...so the Big Ten is 7-0-2 in the NCAA tourney at this point

Yep, I thought it was a clear and correct call. Had a step on the defenders before the ball got to him

It was very close but every Zip defender had their hand up when he scored.  I wonder if the flag was up immediately or came up after he scored.

ACC has 1 team remaining in the Elite 8 - Notre Dame. The class of the ACC - UNC, Wake, Virginia - are all gone.

Lollaville won the conference tourney and they were seeded #4...they exited in their first match

Basically, an offensive player can not be ahead of the other teams defenders (goal keeper excluded)  unless the ball is also ahead of the defenders.

It was incredibly close and I would die inside if it had happened to us, but it appears to be the correct call.
