NWAkron Posted April 8, 2021 Report Posted April 8, 2021 EMU and CMU are taking their time. Both playing game of chicken over Paul Winters I guess. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted April 9, 2021 Report Posted April 9, 2021 The MAC has rescinded its intra-conference transfer policy. Athletes can now transfer within the MAC without having to sit a year. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/31216380/mid-american-conference-eliminates-intraconference-transfer-policy Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted July 7, 2021 Report Posted July 7, 2021 Good luck to Jayson Preston. He's a great story. I wish him well. He'll be a fine pro (in Europe). Quote

Most mocks have him early 2nd. Some writer's are saying possible late 1st after his combine performance. Good for him and good for the MAC Quote

That's fair. I think he sticks as a solid pass first backup point. He definitely has the body type teams are looking for. I guess we'll have to wait to see how it all plays out. 1 Quote
zippy5 Posted July 9, 2021 Report Posted July 9, 2021 This kid isn't staying in the draft if he doesn't know that he's getting drafted. Quote

If there's a chance, he'll stay in, because even a chance at getting drafted means Europe success is a guarantee. Quote
zippy5 Posted July 10, 2021 Report Posted July 10, 2021 He didn't need an NBA draft eval to know he can play in Europe 1 Quote
RowdyZip Posted July 13, 2021 Report Posted July 13, 2021 Saw a mock draft that has him going 37th to Detroit. Can't find the link right now. He's talented, no doubt, but I just don't get it. I feel like I've seen at least a half-dozen better players in my 20 years watching MAC basketball. Good luck to him, I hope he succeeds. As they say, "A rising tide lifts all boats." Quote
