I think Tyler made a mistake and this isn’t reflective of his true character.  I got to talk to him at the ice cream social before the season and came away very impressed with how articulate he was and seemed very genuine in his conversations.

I'm with you.  I don't think he's a bad kid.  He just let his emotion get the best of him.   Hopefully, a lesson going forward.

Absolutely.  Think of the times we all lost our cool when our adrenaline is rushing.  He always seems so happy and easy going on the court.  Hopefully, his buds will play for him on Saturday.

Cheese has represented Akron very well during his couple years here. One mistake in the heat of the moment in one of the biggest games of the season with a lot of frustration that didn't result in anyone getting hurt. Fair & just punishment, but not fair to start questioning who he is as a person and member of this program. As previously stated, hopefully the team plays for him, and I fully expect to see him cheering from the bench as loud as anyone in the arena.

Any scenario of Akron winning a head-to-head tie-breaker against BGSU would require Akron winning this game. Akron's only chance of winning the 1 seed with a loss tomorrow would be to win the last two games and for BGSU to lose its last 3 remaining games.

Adversity doesn't build character--adversity REVEALS character. I'm looking forward to seeing what the players and coaching staff are made of in the coming two weeks.

Apart from Reece twisting his ankle in DeKalb, the Zips had a full team for each game until this snafu.  Guys didn't show their signature poise that Groce always praises.  They just need to see some shots go in.

You just had to say it.   I can hear bones snapping and ligaments tearing as I type.  LOL.
