Zippy87 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 Enrique hasn't played since this injury. Can't find much on his status or nature of the injury. Quote
phil Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 Unfortunately, I anticipated him being waived. Hardly played in the preseason. Will be interesting to see if he plays in the G league or goes overseas to make some money. He needed to develop a reliable 3 point shot and it just never happened. The hustle play and good defense was just not enough to keep him with the Timberwolves. Not sure if the shoulder injury was a game changer but he never got on the court after the injury. 3 Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 What a complete mismanagement by Minnesota. Hope they lose 82 games this season. Quote

He was playing before the shoulder injury. After that, he was inactive each game. Edited October 18 by Zippy87 Quote

I did not know he was inactive after the shoulder injury. The stat sheet did not indicate he was injured. The coach did not indicate he was injured when they waived him. The NBA is a difficult business. I hope he stays in the G league and does not give up his dream of getting a roster spot in the NBA. Quote

The Timberwolves provide status reports before every game, and he was listed as "out" for the final three preseason contests. I never saw any kind of detail on his injury, though. Quote

phil Posted Tuesday at 07:07 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 07:07 PM Thanks for posting!!! I have been checking hoping that he would get another 2 way. The fact that he did not sign with another team as a g league player without a 2 way gave me hope that he would return to the Timberwolves. I think the fact that he is a class act and a great team player probably weighed on their consideration to bring him back. Quote
