Towards the end there is a great discussion on when to stop asking. Too many young people in the workforce go from asking to complaining to malcontent. At some point a person can't become noise within an organization or everyone else will do what they always do with noise and tune it out. morris buttermaker
I may have missed this -- so sorry if I did, but will Akron offer 105 FB scholarships next yr... and will every team in the MAC?... even so, there are many more scholarship opportunities available on the open market before a player would settle on a MAC offer, or in particular Akron... I can't see FB being sustainable at the FBS level for Akron

I can't see FB being sustainable at the FBS level for Akron No for Akron. And no for the SEC. I’m not sure if other conferences have made a final decision. MAC and SEC will still be at the 85 scholarship limit. It’s just a 105 roster cap.

They used him as the promo pic for the Indiana game. From what I've read on X, he tore his Achilles today in practice and is done for the season. What a jinx. Anyone not rooting for Indiana today? Go Hoosiers.

Taught my kids the Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosiers chant just to solidify their hatred of Ohio State. Household philosophy. Our 3 favorite teams are Akron and whomever is playing Kent and Ohio State. Let'sGoZips94
Not sure if anyone watching caught this, but Indiana has a DL transfer from Kent State (West is his name I think). The announcers said he has to work extremely hard academically to either become eligible or get into IU. Joke of a school we have to our east. Thank goodness we are up wind from them. catdaddyp
I’m not convinced Indiana is deserving of a CFP spot. They’ve beaten one school with a winning record - Washington. Maybe 3 if Michigan and Nebraska win today. Talk about the stars aligning with a cakewalk schedule.

Georgia looking like poop vs UMass helps them. If a school beats everyone on their schedule except the #2 team in the country, they should be in. Can't help the rankings of the others on your schedule. Edited 16 hours ago by Let'sGoZips94

Agreed can only beat the teams on your schedule. However, if strength of schedule doesn’t matter, chances are the best teams aren’t actually getting in. Have to wonder what record almost every team in the SEC (not named Miss. State or Auburn) would be if they played Indiana’s schedule. It is a nice speculative conversation, but it doesn't serve the system. Boise State should arguably be ahead of every team except Oregon and Ohio State. 11-1 should be rewarded, not punished. Would hate to see FSU 2.0.

GP1
Next year Indiana will go back to looking just like Kansas this year.
