Zippy87 Posted March 3, 2024 Report Posted March 3, 2024 (edited) Interesting watching Iowa vs Ohio State women's game and them noting that Iowa does their senior night ceremony after the game. Maybe something to consider in the future? I get the risk of losing but I felt for the players last night getting honored in front of a 1/4 full JAR because it was so early and so many hadn't arrived yet. I found the Iowa post game senior ceremony on YouTube. It is a nice touch and allows the players to speak. I feel bad for former CMU player Molly Davis. I hope her knee injury today is not as bad as it looks. 1 Quote

I also enjoyed letting the players speak directly to the fans. Agree on Davis...hate to see that for her on senior night. 1 Quote

It would be interesting to see how many of the "I gotta be out of here by the 4:00 minute left mark regardless of the score to beat the crowd" season ticket holders would stay. 2 Quote

If I recall correctly, Hankerson was Thornton's roommate at some point. 1 Quote

Not only that they now have to play music during the breaks and all you hear is the base that cannot be handled by the speakers. I would like to strangle the idiot who decided we have to listen to loud music that cannot be handled by the speakers at football and basketball games. 3 Quote

They didn't even cut the music completely when Groce spoke. He's speaking from the heart and getting emotional and there was some track still playing quietly. Quote
Zippy87 Posted March 4, 2024 Report Posted March 4, 2024 Seriously though, job well done by Iowa. Quote

Not surprising they're having trouble with the audio, they apparently still haven't found anyone to operate a spotlight so the players aren't running out in the dark during introductions. 🙄 1 Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted March 4, 2024 Author Report Posted March 4, 2024 Heck, I'd be happy for an occasional stoppage of play without eardrum damaging noise and the ability to talk to someone without screaming. 1 Quote
