kreed5120 Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Feed the hot hand. Draw a play for Scott. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Just now, zipsrule said: For sure. They are trying to talk themselves into it being a good shot. At the end of the sequence, they talked themselves back into the possibility of that shot counting. Homerism at its finest in Jonesboro. Quote
MDZip Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Gray needs to have the ball in his hands. 1 Quote

csims0917 Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Love that play. Shocked we didn’t draw anything from that Quote
1981 grad Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 The announcers are pretty good for homers. Like that they had the stats on nba players drafted out of Akron. 3 Quote
zipsrule Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 That looks like a good block. 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted November 5, 2024 Author Report Posted November 5, 2024 Given how Shammah had actually performed at the hoop tonight, unlike last season, I have no problem with the play. 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted November 5, 2024 Author Report Posted November 5, 2024 That's not a goal tend. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 THE GOALTENDING STANDS?! WHAT?! THE?! %#@$?! 1 Quote
LZIp Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Sure looks like a bad goaltending call to me. Quote
MDZip Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 There was no F#@$$ing way that was a goaltend. 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted November 5, 2024 Author Report Posted November 5, 2024 Well, my over bet just hit. Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted November 5, 2024 Author Report Posted November 5, 2024 Damn, need to finish at the rim. Quote
ClevelandZip Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Could have won this if we could just hit layups. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Multiple missed layups this game. No matter the result, I'm very happy with what I'm seeing tonight. We will be a force to be reckoned with come March. The missed shots, turnovers, sloppiness, etc., can all be ironed out. The key is do we have the horses in the barn? We do. 4 Quote
1981 grad Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Lyles is not used to being in the game when the game is on the line. Nice drive, terrible finish. Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted November 5, 2024 Author Report Posted November 5, 2024 Zips showed some heart. I knew they were in trouble as it was a game of runs and the Zips had their run to finish the game. Ohio Wesleyan has to be worried. 1 Quote
MDZip Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 That goaltending call was the turning point of the game. Don't know how that wasn't overturned. Didn't hit the rim, wasn't over the cylinder, wasn't on its way down and obviously didn't hit the backboard until it was blocked. Terrible, terrible call. 3 Quote
MDZip Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 And there goes the at-large. 😉 But this team will be fine. 1 Quote
