I'm still hoping we can somehow keep Norton and McCoy, but I'm worried about them. I guess the way I look at the current state of college football is that it's just a constant revolving door. Any good or great players from G5 will enter thinking they are better than where they are currently and the P4/5 players not getting the playing time they think they deserve will enter hoping for more playing time, respect, whatever from another P4/5 or a G5. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't see how this is sustainable for the G5, rebuilding from scratch every season? Hats off to Ohio Bobcats and Miami who seem to be able to navigate this reality, but if you're trying to pull out of a dive like Akron is, it seems pretty grim.
