Miami OH is in a no-win situation when it comes to pressure. Currently their only claim to fame is a 0 in the loss column and every single pundit is debating if THAT'S even enough given their schedule. They know Akron will likely be awaiting them in Cleveland and every metric under the sun has Akron beating them in a theoretical neutral court matchup (in fact, I believe Akron is pretty heavily favored in that - nearly 60/40). Steele's outburst in Kalamazoo was proof the pressure of needing to be perfect to get to The Dance is wearing on them.

You could take it the other way...they're currently undefeated and people are debating their at-large worthiness. If they lose tonight, there's much more pressure to secure their NCAA Tournament berth by winning in Cleveland.

Something worth noting since Akron/Miami are projected as an 11/12 seed and most are projecting UNC as a 5/6 seed. Caleb Wilson broke his thumb in practice this week and had season ending surgery. He was averaging 19.8 pts and 9.4 rebounds and a projected lottery pick.
