To make matters worse, they only leave the Cincinnati area as a whole for 1 non-conference game (excluding MTE, which is a good one). Truly pathetic, but it's hard to expect anything less from a Pitino.

Last year the non-conference schedule was released on August 15th and the year before August 12th. It will be here before we know it.

 

I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been more leaks on what games are on the schedule. I feel we knew a handful or so by this time last year, including what MTE we would be playing in.

The Bucknell game go moved up to Tuesday November 17th. I wonder if we were clearing the calendar for a bigger game?

FWIW, I remember UNC playing at Cleveland State some years ago because they had a player from the area who was a senior, and this was a way they honored their departing players.

Adventure Group includes App State, Belmont, St. Bonnie, Wright State, and Yale.

At least we know it will be on an ESPN Network and not FloSports or something like other invitationals we've been in.

Last year the adventure bracket was 8 teams and consisted of 3 games. Not sure how the format will he this year with 6. Perhaps they're still 2 TBD.

I would guess St. Bonnie would be one of them. It's anyone's guess on the other.

I feel like getting a bye would hurt you cause you play one less game
