ZipForNow Posted Saturday at 08:44 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:44 PM CMU seems to have scouted us better than we scouted them. Quote
phil Posted Saturday at 08:49 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:49 PM On those QB runs, not one Zip has any penetration. They are just pushing the Zips backwards. It looks like it will be 21-7 by half. Look back at all those squandered opportunities in the first quarter. Quote

MangoZip Posted Saturday at 08:51 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:51 PM 92 yards of offense in the half for the offensive genius Quote
exit322 Posted Saturday at 08:52 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:52 PM Wonder if Goodrich is still hoping for 20,000 for homecoming next week. Quote
LZIp Posted Saturday at 08:53 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:53 PM Not sure I can watch the second half. Ugly domination 1 Quote
phil Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM We are just not a very good football team. The opposing team scores right before half. One year that happened almost every game. Based on what I have just watched I just don't see this team coming back. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM 21-7. This game is over. I'm done. We'll finish the season 2-12. We beat Kent, maybe Buffalo. That's it. Quote
ZipForNow Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:55 PM Let's bear in mind that the Chips are not very good. We can still win this. It's simply hard to watch. 1 Quote

Reslife4Life Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:59 PM I do not want to hear anything regarding “third string QB” in this postgame interview. I said it last week, this team is boring Quote

ZippyDoo Posted Saturday at 09:01 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:01 PM i'm at the game and for the first time i'm going to say it publicly the whole staff needs fired. it's pathetic mixon has played EVERY snap. the qb is audibling and running right at him every play. EVERY PLAY. gould is in and helps block for the td is pulled and. doesn't get back in. special teams gets field goals blocked, punts fumbled and no kicker can make a field goal behind 30 yards. o line can't block and give any time coaching staff on both sides WAS NOT prepared for the first conference game in any way whatsoever. defensive line coach plays two edge rushers, 2 main starters, it's all a joke. this is embarrassing. the freaking coaches are talking to the players on the field and the f**n players watching the cow pig and chicken race down the field ... not to mention another game with pee poor discipline taking them out scoring territory for stupid lack of discipline after a play AND NO CONSEQUENCE ... they all need to go... 1 Quote
ZippyDoo Posted Saturday at 09:03 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:03 PM there is no excuses... this is pathetic ALL AROUND. lack of preparation on the entire staff... players don't care at this point why should they Quote

Absolutely not. Joe needs more time to establish his program. Truth be told, Akron can't afford to fire him. We're stuck for 19 1/2 more games of this. Quote

They're not being coached up at all, but they are trying. Of course the players care, especially the ones with additional years of eligibility. They're playing for their next paycheck. The good news is it looks we won't have much competition in retaining most of them. The bad news is most of them will likely be playing here again next year making the same mistakes they are this season. Quote

Yes, that's why they absolutely must have a coach who can actually make his players better. And they don't have one. Quote
phil Posted Saturday at 09:29 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:29 PM The weekend started well with a Zips win on the road in soccer. I then watched the Guardians get crushed. I was looking forward to this game thinking we would be competitive against a MAC team. Watching the 1st quarter was tough. Watching the rest of the game is impossible. We cannot compete. Very dissapointed. Quote

Does Kent? Who had to cut ties with their coach for fraud? Does eastern Michigan? The school that I’m convinced has no fans or students? How did the Tampa bay rays win 98 games this year with their budget? There’s more to sports than money. This is embarrassing 1 Quote
exit322 Posted Saturday at 09:31 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:31 PM Akron with a successful drive to take this from a three score game to a three score game. 1 Quote
