This is all going to be fascinating to watch play out. I do wonder why the NCAA has decided to make this, of all issues, the hill they choose to die on. 

 

Akron could face some tough decisions. If the NCAA threatens to sanction them, what do they do?

Follow the rules so we don’t get banned from March Madness. We have better character than the LSU’s or Texas Tech’s of the world.

 

interesting how much the environment has changed since Covid. LCJ, Cheese, Riak etc got screwed by not only having their career cut short, but also the class after them got the extra COVID year and not them.

Life isn't always fair.  As much as we may want Evan to play this season, rules, even those we don't like, have to be followed.

This is what annoys me. My cousin was a senior wrestler at OSU when covid wiped out NCAAs. He was #1 in the country. His career ended abruptly, while everyone that was a year younger got an entire additional year, and now the new 5 for 5 stuff is coming in. Kinda sucks for that college class of 2020 graduating class.

The MAC has released its national TV schedule for the month on January. Akron has 3 games selected.

Just received confirmation email that the tickets are active and that I can download. I went and looked. It appears season ticket renewals come with the YSU exhibition included.
