Reslife4Life Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 I would love us to come out and jump on them early. A feel like games like this, mid season, mid week, non conference, have gone 0-0 a few times Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 This is another great opportunity for a quality win. Hope we can find some goals tonight. Quote
Zips1991 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 (edited) Preview from GoZips.com: https://gozips.com/news/2026/10/5/mens-soccer-set-to-battle-syracuse "The matchup marks the first time both teams have met since the 2018 NCAA Tournament, where the Zips defeated the Orange, 3-1, in the second round as part of their magical run to their second-ever College Cup final." Note from me: It was actually their 4th College Cup final (1986, 2009, 2010, 2018) Edited October 6 by Zips1991 1 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 Crowd looking weak tonight. Joey Paulus in attendance Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 Holy FC27 high line/offside trap from Syracuse. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 If those are the only 2 angles for VAR, our camera guys are MVPs. Incredible home field advantage lol. 1 Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 Goal Syracuse. We have zero urgency on defense/our side of the pitch. Quote
Reslife4Life Posted October 6 Report Posted October 6 Good offensive pressure. The D needs to win some more balls tho 1 Quote

It's a risky strategy to play such a high line because the proper through ball/run can get behind so easily. Impressive finish by Remi with a defender on his back and taking the shot from outside the box. What a game. A chip shot, an absolute rocket, a saved PK, a sub-5-minute game winning goal, and a save off the line on a dangerous failed clear with 2 minutes to go. It had everything. 4 Quote

Perfect pass beats offside trap. Good pass probably does not beat high line/trap. Make the final pass a diagonal one, boys and girls. #geometry 2 Quote

I don't understand why they don't state coach's challenge rather than simply video review on the broadcast. In the stadium, we can see the coaches signal for a challenge.
