Time to shake off this funk and go on a run.

I think it's going to be key to score in the open court. 14 out of our 30 points came from turnovers. We need to use defense to create offense.

Our guard play on offense has not been very impressive. The guards have not been able to penetrate or get open looks. We have missed a lot of open threes. Bad shooting with little penetration gets you bad offense. We need better ball movement and better shooting.

I mean they're shooting 43% from 3 on 14 attempts in the first half and only put up 39 pts. Good shooting masks a lot of problems. Let's see what they look like in the second half if we start making our shots. Chemistry is exposed under pressure.

And yet there team work/chemistry does not at all seem to be an issue. The post-NIL skillset that is most important for a coach arguably entails being able to bring a completely new roster into a cohesive team in a matter of months. I already miss the days of four-year players.

Taking too many questionable shots and the defense looks tired.

Its obvious that Akron was mostly worried about JMU's big men. The guards are over-helping on D and getting caught down low way too much.

They just mentioned on the broadcast that the 11 players on JMU's team have been in 23 different programs before showing up at JMU. Different era. Smh

I think I just saw Joe Akron.

JMU is shooting 40% from 3 vs our 22%. That's the great equalizer.

For as well as they've been playing defensively, have not looked sharp offensively at all. Game is too close for having played that well on defense.
