Don't worry, they are in the recruiting thread getting excited about our current verbals. We need to do an over/under on how many are actually on the team next September.2 points

Every time Ball runs outside it's a loss. Every time Ball runs inside it's a gain. Milwee: Run Ball sweep.2 points

I don't think people are getting worked up. I think people are pointing out the crap we're sick of seeing - i.e. pathetic offensive play calling by Milwee. Woodson doesn't look good. Defense has had its faults, but really hasn't been AWFUL (aided by some drops; as I'm typing this, Saquon just broke one off). Ball looks decent when given the opportunity.2 points

I mean an All-American TE just scored a TD on us and we are mocking the "best secondary in a long time" comments? Does not compute.2 points

You guys are getting quite worked up vs. the #6 team in the country. Will be hard to get a good read on this team until we are playing someone on a similar level. Hopefully Woody can shake off all of his rust this week. That throw to Smith should have been a TD. I'm sure you all will get to see Kato in this one too.2 points

Miss the days when you could watch a football game with just a few commercials mixed in, instead of a commercial-fest with just a few football plays mixed in.2 points

PSU is really really good. I wasn't expecting to learn much about the Zips but man they looked bad. Kinda reminded me of the beat down Brookheart's Zips had at UVA. Some small things I learned.... Wr still is an issue. Play calling is still an issue although I liked the fake bootleg deep ball Woody underthrown. If Ball is healthy feed him. Woody doesn't look right. Kato needs to play for know. He has talent no doubt. I also hated Woody's childish behavior. He's a senior and needs to show a better example on the field. Didn't like not going for a score on the last drive.1 point

Woodson is immobile and there is no read option with him Nelson also appears to throw more accurately and with more velocity than Woodson1 point

There are some posters who have been silent the entire game contemplating a post to let us all know how we are in good shape. The roster is oozing and the coaching staff is uber competent.1 point

Best offense in the country? So are we playing the best Defense in the country too?1 point

What we really want to know is if anything happened today to boost the attendance over 9100.1 point

We are playing against the best offense in the country - Heisman RB, All-American QB......stop the doom and gloom. PSU will throw up more points against Big10 teams this year.1 point

Rather have a "loser" mentality being able to look at things realistically than being a grown man and making jokes about child rape. I've never heard that one before!!1 point

People really content on accepting participation trophies against Power 5 Conference teams and then getting smacked in the MAC every season. Not Me1 point

Tommy' s timing is off or his shoulder isn't 100%. Looks more like timing, but something to watch.1 point

Crap secondary. Let's keep running wide coach. It obviously works. SMH.1 point

Impressive Victory! Joao Moutinho #2 continues to shine from the back line at CB. He is officially my favorite Zip. He has a good all round game, with a bit of nasty. His potential is limitless. Daniel Strachan #25 was surprisingly proficient at CB as well.1 point

All this talk about oozing size and speed...I have no idea who he was watching because this is the most non-athletic and smallest zips team I have seen in the last 4 years. It is the first time in quite a while that we played a power 5 school and we look like tiny, slow and unathletic lower level players.1 point

Great, complete game by the Zips. Happy to see Stuart Holthusen and Sam Gainford both score on a night that their families (from New Zealand and England) were in attendance. Mark Hothusen was among the AK-Rowdies on the hill when Stuart scored. From his recount, he wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else! Good turnout by the Rowdies and students last night. Good job!1 point

Zips come out early, keep the score low and frustrate PSU much like they did against Michigan several years ago. The Stadium grows quiet as the first quarter ends with the Zips in the lead. Zips win on a last-play drive and this goes down as the greatest victory in the history of Zips Football. At the end of the game the Zips will drag the carcass of the vaunted, overrated, #6 Ranked Penn State, to display for all to see at InfoCision Stadium on September 8th...and many more years to come. Fans who were at the game, will stay for hours to take photos of the day the Zips beat Penn State. Fans who watched the game at their local watering holes will have to stay a little while longer, because they had...a few...more than they intended. The Media shall weep, for what are we to do now that a no-buddy has taken down a top "dynasty" team? How can we gerrymander and scheme our system inorder to prop up teams to guarantee that they will be eligible for the College Football Playoffs? Of course, I'm a homer. To hell with saying the Zips are gonna lose. The Zips Ain't lost crap yet! GO ZIPS! And just incase I forgot to say; GO ZIPS!1 point

The Huskies only SOG was about min #2. 43 minutes without a look at goal. Akron dominated half no. 1, but could only put one shot away. We need more scorers.1 point

Ok, I know everyone on here likes to whine about everything. I'll admit, in the past some of Dambrot's schedules didn't challenge some of our best teams. But if you bitched about past schedules, you should equally bitch about this one. A brief analysis of non-conf: 2016-2017 opponents average record prior season: 16.7W-16.4L 2017-2018 opponents average record prior season: 17.3W-15.4L Now the 17-18 averages could go up, should the Zips upset USC to face MTSU (31-5), Princeton (23-7), etc, but are more likely to go down if they hit the loser's side (Davidson 17-15, Hawaii 14-16). Reserve judgment until next year when the staff has a full year to put together a schedule, and realize even then it's a crapshoot because of team personnel changes.1 point

Quite the opposite imo. Franklin wants to show as little as possible to get by and not have the book out for the rivalry game next week.1 point

Everyone has a different take on what is important. For me, beating BG and Ohio is more important than beating Penn State. To win the East, you've got to beat those two plus the rising Miami. To win the conference, you are probably going to have to beat a tough Toledo team in Detroit. The potential of winning those games is what makes me tick.1 point

Winning the MAC East and getting to the MACC game is our Super Bowl, not this game.1 point
