  3. Z.I.P., I am totally in favor of Wynalda over Gulati as the next leader of US soccer. Gullet's leadership is ineffective and his hands as dirty with all the CONCACAF corruption that has gone on while he led US soccer. He knew about it, did nothing and there is circumstantial evidence that he personally benefitted from the payoffs. Wynalda has already written a 100+ page manifesto on what US soccer needs and what he would do. He is not afraid to lead and change the status quo.

  4. I wonder. Looks like some sort of drainage system clog. Hope someone finds a snake before tomorrow.

  5. Kent State beats Miami 17-14. I hate to see Kent win anything, but probably a good result for the Zips. Though they now have the same record, I believe Miami will be the stronger team through the rest of the year.

  14. I cannot vote for USSF president, but if I could, I would vote for Eric Wynalda. What he lacks in corporate acumen can be exceeded by Soccer experience and passion.

  15. Great to see the Plain Dealer have this article, but seems to be another lazy writer. When talking about CP's experience with US Soccer, he should have also mentioned Caleb's stint as a U18 MNT assistant, where he convinced a very talented Right Back named DeAndre Yedlin to move to playing that position.

  18. He'll certainly get the opportunity to play early in his career. We graduate our top 3 RB's (although Sands is making a good case for Top 3 consideration right now).

  19. Well, technically it was a free kick, following WMU taking a safety and hoping to hem the Zips in their own end as time ran out. It didn't work (monumentally)! Here's the replay:
