@LoyalZip would have a better take. I see how Kent wins. They hustle and have hands everywhere. If the opponent isn't disciplined and focused, the game could easily get away from them. But Kent throws up a lot of shots and a lot of misses...at least last night. I think Freeman is going to have a lot of trouble. That being said...Kent certainly wasn't this amazing team circa Buffalo 2018-19. Side note: it was apparently Pajama Bottom night at the MAC Center. Nothing but Klass with a capital "K" in Ravenna.

That may have been the most boring MAC game I’ve seen this year. The fans were asleep, players asleep, announcer asleep. Payton has a very stupid face. Although that’s kind of redundant when you voluntarily play basketball for Rob Senderoff.

Wilson is a good player but not very good on defense. Enrique is showing everyone who is the best big man in the MAC today.

Unfortunately, the follow through on that has not been up to par in recent years. I’ve been pushing for every committed FBS player to have a rating regardless of school (probably to the point of annoyance). To be honest, many high schools don’t have a single player committing to an FBS school. I do think Rivals is right in giving out a load of 2 stars, especially when you read what their definition of a 2 star should be. On a business level that has since become a detriment since 247 and ON3 give out 3 stars like candy, which boosts their views and mentions. I’ve made it known when I disagree with a rating, but I’m not always right. It’s hard to judge work ethic and how much adversity a player can handle at the college level.

No idea. There are also some players from Hoban that other schools seem to be inexplicably beating us to the punch on. How is that at all fathomable? Within the last couple days even KSUck’s brand new defensive coordinator has posted pics of recent visits to East, Buchtel, and Hoban. Makes me slightly ill.

And with no fanfare it seems Nyeem Wartman is officially the DL coach.

Some of my favorite memories of UA basketball were simply driving home and listening to him on the post game with Frenchy and Joe Dunn, preferably after wins of course. I could listen to an archive of those all day long. They had some real chemistry.
