First off, OU vs Sunbelt member Georgia Southern. I don't think winning or losing is critical in bowl season, but this should be a fun game. An annual regular season Sun Belt vs MAC would be a great event.

Still haven’t seen many realistic options that would be a significant upgrade over what we already have. May have to wait until the dominos start to fall and a few guys are left without options they originally thought would be available. Outside of the obvious P5 transfers, almost all of the other QBs have some type of flaw. Whether it’s lack of experience, turnover prone, or just a poor fit for JoeMo’s offense. Maybe we end up landing a guy like AJ Swann? Good enough to be a part time starter, but is viewed as a backup by most P5 schools. Perhaps someone like that eventually decides he wants to be a full time starter somewhere and goes G5. That’s at least the type of scenario I’m hoping for.

Less than 24 hours to this huge matchup! Excitement is building (for Evan Wilson and Zach Halligan).

They are a strong program. One guy goes down another steps up. Weak programs like Akron collapse under adversity.

Midway through the 3rd, OU up 27-7.

I believe he is doing a good job. He has brought much needed purposeful change. He makes good hires and articulates a solid plan to rebuild enrollment, recognizing it will never be as high as it once was. His wife Georgia seems the perfect match for a university president. She is every bit as sharp as he is.

This principled organization caves like a cheap card table every time a little bit of pressure is put on it. If you really believe in the rules you're trying to enforce you don't cave every time there's a little push back.

Schedule them, sure. At BUGS? If she's pulling South Carolina to BUGS, she might be the most respected assistant of all time.

It would be nice if all the affected schools stood together and said "FU, our kids are playing" and ignored the NCAA.

I wish we were seeing some more smoke concerning the quarterback position.

I don't have a huge problem with them sitting a year but at the same time a coach can move and coach immediately. At a base level, that seems unfair.
