  1. There's a pregame gathering at one of the downtown bars. Let me find the email release... ... Zips pregame party at The Corner Alley from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. And, btw, @Westie, I never welcomed you to ZipsNation. Glad you are here, brother! Don't be a stranger & post often! Go Zips!

  2. I hope we offer two local guys. Ethan Wright can help this team as a RB or as a Safety. He played both positions at Cincinnati. We need to offer former Iowa QB Joe Labas, who is from Brecksville.

  3. Guys & Gals are playing a double-header on Thursday. I think I'll try to catch both!

  4. No, and I double checked that. He's a good player who I'd love to have back at LT but his grades must be a real issue. Poor young man, I hope he perseveres and gets a degree.

  5. I can't believe he didn't mention tarping-over seats?

  6. Mikal Dawson scored zero points on 0-5 shooting yesterday?! In over 19 minutes of PT?! Uh, oh. We need a confident Dawson. On the other hand, it's great seeing Scott went 5-8 (4-5 from 3) for 15 points. I love Shammah's hustle & defense. If his shot starts falling he's going to be a dangerous player in the MAC.

  12. Just a bunch of guys who put a 15 point ass-whuppin' on the Braves. As an aside, I see Duquesne played Stony Brook, coached by Geno Ford, former PCCC and Bradley coach.

  13. Yep. One poster on their board thought we had one good player and the rest were just a bunch of guys.

  14. When I saw this, the pure stupidity of it almost caused me to choke on a spoonful of soup. Then I looked at the Dukes schedule and did choke a little in laughter. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  15. I think most of it will hinge on the quarterback. A number of incoming transfers were all-conference at their respective levels and I’m sure some of the talented freshmen from the 2023 class will be ready to contribute. The team should be better at nearly every position, but if the QB situation is still a problem, it will just be more of the same. There are two transfer windows to get that figured out.

  16. This should make for 3 NE Ohio losses within roughly 2 weeks for the Braves? According to their fans, all to teams vastly inferior to them? 😅

  17. Hope they know what they are in for. This guy is trouble.

  19. Staying on the former Zip theme, Dakota Thomas landed at a JUCO after his departure. Wondering if grades were an issue with him too. Honorable mention all-conference season at JUCO.

  20. No, it can just be one year. Might be a situation where the staff is keeping him on the back burner in case they don’t land their top targets. Or they may not offer again at all?

  21. I'd be excited to watch the upper echelon P5 decide who the fat is among the P5s and trim it off. The Vandys, Boston Colleges, etc., of the world are gonna be joining us when the inevitable split occurs.

  22. I liked him. His HS highlight tape was laughably awesome. He's a little on the small side & I think he got hurt early in his freshman season here & so didn't see any PT.

  23. The little 5'8" guard from M-H, Ryan Marchal, was a scrappy player. Very much enjoyed watching him.

  24. Played hard, especially on defense. Shot looked a little flat but decent. I don't think we're going to see much of him from here on out as he's clearly the the 11th man on a team that has pretty much gone to an 8-man rotation.
