I like the LCJ and Clarke two guard combo. It's worked before: McNees and Roberts and Bassett and Cooper. I think KD and Darryl and Steve on the floor together.

That's good news. 640am came on in my car, and they were winning. I wasn't hopeful they could hold on.

Hopefully, they will look to Van Horn to take over the department. He knows the donors, the fanbase, the community, and certainly knows what changes need to be made. He would be a solid choice.

The Horizon League tournament is rather nuts. Wright State lost and the #1 seed Vikings went to 3 OTs. Torrey scored 30 points. Horizon league gave every team a chance with the final 4 bubbling in Indianapolis and the winner likely staying there.

So Friday if Akron wins over Miami, they are set as a 3rd seed and will play BG on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kent and Buffalo will be playing for the #2 seed. Then there is Ohio's alleged COVID situation.

Akron has had a tougher schedule. They talk about Buffalo winning 7 of their last 8. They lost Toledo by 10 and then beat EMU and NIU before handily beating Ohio and beating Zips by 2 with what could say was a 2nd half collapse by the Bulls. Buffalo and Ohio both had a few weeks off here and there. Since 1/9th Zips have had one game postponed and 7 out of last 10 on the road. And Ball State's been sitting at home for a couple months? screw that. Let's get everyone on an equal playing field then start seeing what's up.

and CMU was playing without Broadway, their top scorer, AND without their point guard. Toledo was playing for outright. MAC. championship. Marreon was. out of control at the end, throwing up off balanced lay ups, getting a charging foul at the mid court line. CMU guy Huffman making some crazy 3 pointers and then fouling out. And CMU had lost 8 straight. It's March.

With Toledo losing and Zips making that 20 point come back and OU having COVID issues (allegedly) you just never know. I hope this long slog for the Zips and the adversity will carry them through next week.

Pulling out a win at the end would have been amazing but Groce us right in that the quality of play matters most. Hopefully, all these ups and downs will prepare them for Cleveland. Their best stretch was during the NBA part of the schedule although there were some Michigan teams in that mix

I didnt watch but caught Groce interview after game and he said about 20x he was really proud of the guys on the floor at the end. Who was there besides Freeman and LCJ?

Wouldn't say it was a lie but definitely a panacea.

And replace with whom? Wynn? Groce is out of options. This team has tuned out.

1. Ali, Freeman, Trimble, and Dailey aren't Cheese, X, Riak,and Banks. 2. Pulling a new team together in this environment has to be nearly impossible with no Summer bonding or a pre season. 3. This season sucks for everyone.

We have 20...do we have 30? Reminds me a lot of 2018-2019 season ending. Will be crushed first round in Cleveland.

We've all been around long enough to clearly see where this season is going. This is so massively disappointing. They arent getting past the first round. I bought tickets when they were rolling...costly mistake. Groce stock is tanking.
