If you found yourself as athletic director for the month of April, what qualities would you be looking for in a coach?
I personally want a fresh start, a new face, that will excite the campus and community at large.
And Bassett kicked off team the next season. I remember Dambrot tried to emulate Groces method of trying to win 4 minute intervals. Remember when they had those poster boards.
Again...Enough with these complicated terms like "ball screens". Coming around with those above that Groce is sort of old news. Jamarian Christian or the NBA (thank you search firm) guy would be a true fresh start.
Yes. I can just enjoy the game although it's been difficult watching the same style of stuck in the mud MAC Zips play for these last few years. It takes me longer than 30 seconds to determine if it's zone or man to man and by then the possession is over.
Jamion Christian just won the Ben Jobe award. I would love a swarming defense. I think a move from a small Catholic school in Maryland where he is one of lowest paid coaches to Akron would be a reasonable choice for him
Thank you. I was about to reach for the bottle of Scotch in my desk. Only two that look promising are Groce and Jamion Christian and maybe Anthony Stewart. Jim Christian??? Where's McDevitt?
I'm predicting John Groce and I'm apparently psychic. Notice "Sully" in bottom of video like Sully's Tool and Party Rental...big Zips sponsor. I also predicted the SE Ohio earthquake.
I don't know what any person I dont know wants, but (as much as I would like to see this) I can't really picture this. He would really have to think there is a huge upside to coming here
I heard there's a guy at South Carolina Upstate who is looking to bolt. McDaniel, McDougall, MacDavid or something or other.
And I was thinking about John Groce and his inability to recruit Chicago. We need someone who can recruit Akron because apparently all these top players are slipping off to Buffalo
