  1. Looks like it's that time of the year where I have to start keeping a tentative schedule until the official schedule is announced.
  2. Some team-issued gear being sold on ebay from a seller in Akron. Guessing he had some sort of contact with the program. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=330cfbplug&_pgn=1&isRefine=true&_trksid=p4429486.m2548.l49496
  3. Zips up 2-0 heading to the bottom of the 5th. Akron's pitcher (Maddie Jamrog) allowed a leadoff single and has since retired 15 straight batters.
  4. Staying in the portal for an entire year and then ending up at Akron where he is assuredly not getting any NIL money is an insane move. But let's hope it works out for us!
  5. Schedule updates for anyone who may be going tomorrow (and now, potentially Sunday). Tonight's elimination game between Ohio and WMU will now be played tomorrow at 11 AM. The winner plays Akron at 2pm. If Akron loses, there's a rematch on Sunday. https://x.com/i/status/2052905749202739241
  6. The difference between a win and a loss in that game is huge. With a loss, Akron would've needed 3 straight wins to capture the title. With a win, they now need to win just one of two tomorrow.
  7. Underhand is a natural motion while overhand is not. That's why softball teams often use the same pitcher in back to back games.
  8. Zips win 4-2 on a walk-off, two-out grand slam!
  9. Came across this on ebay and bought immediately. Probably fake but I'll always have it to remember his game winner!
  10. Zips win their first game of the tournament on a walk off Sac Fly. Now into the semifinals which I believe are tomorrow.
  11. Zips softball gets the walkoff win to put them on the brink of a regular season title! Zips have two games left (one today and one tomorrow). NIU has one game left (starting now). Zips need one win or a NIU loss to clinch the title.
  12. Malik getting (I think) his first ever MLS start today. At least the first this season. EDIT: Actually it's his 2nd start this season but first since the first match back on February 21st.
  13. Hopefully, coming off the World Cup and the Zips Elite 8 run last year, there will be some decent crowds.
  14. Could still be added. He said they were still finalizing some dates!
  15. Zips win in 2OT!!
  16. According to an email from Coach Embick about Day of Giving, the 2026 home schedule features matches against the following (potentially more as he said they are finalizing some dates). Dayton, Army, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Creighton, Georgetown, Xavier, Butler and Robert Morris
  17. I appreciate him including a highlight of him clearly dropping a pass but cutting it off like he didn't drop it.
  18. I'm hoping the lack of reporting on it isn't a sign that it's not a big deal.
  19. I think it's safe to assume we don't have money to compete financially with a for-profit university like GCU.
  20. For sure, it's all unknown but based on the credentials of players coming in, we're not far and away better than the rest of the conference. And there's an argument that other teams have brought in better players. Sure, we'll still win the MAC. That's a given. 😅
  21. Yes, but isn't there a case to be made that a team that bad wouldn't have redshirted him if they thought he'd be a big contributer?
  22. Exavier Wilson played 0 MPG at a much worse Kansas State team last year.
  23. Fellas, are we getting out-transferred by Toledo and Kent State?
