Looks like they are finally fixing the embarrassing brick road through campus. Can’t wait for this, the current state of the brick road is just ridiculously bad.

Hard to have fans when you are aren't very good and it's a women's sport at a smaller school. It sucks for sure but I don't blame the fans not going.

While true to some extent for the transfers especially, Groce did recruit Johnson, Sharron, Amani, TJ, and MMK.

I think the team needs more community support; there's no excuse for the attendance to be as low as it is when Akron has been good for a long time. Seems like they are actually making an effort to market the team now and attract students. The JAR though I will say is pretty crap. I never noticed till I stopped sitting in the student section after graduation but the sightlines in the upper section, especially the baseline sides, are dreadful. The track and wood benches needs removed.

The MC during intermissions last two games has been a nice add.

Never realized how bad the JAR was till I graduated and sat in the wood seats. The sight lines are awful. The track and the glass need to go.

Hoping for a packed house tonight, good crowd on Tuesday despite being sapped by the bingo in the union. Seems like the marketing division is genuinely trying to attract students to go.

The people who are planning the bingo have to be clowns (ZAB), this school just loves to shoot itself in the foot.

I think the new "Outback" student only thing with the AK Rowdies in the JAR is a great idea. I hope the students actually care to take advantage of it.

Maybe they can update the look of the old hotel in that plaza a bit, it's so hideous to look at.

You are correct, but there is a lot of development coming to downtown shortly if you have been following the news. Cascade plaza is bringing in many apartments and the old ABJ building will be redeveloped as well, also more apartments coming to the CitiCenter building on High Street. It is a collective effort, but it seems like downtown is on the rise.

I'm glad they are going through with this plan, incorporating UA to downtown can be a great selling point for the school in the future.

Look at that crowd, it really makes me sad we don't have that anymore. I can't believe that's the same school.

UA really needs a merch upgrade, splattering the generic A on everything isn't the answer. The Ducks team shop has so many sweet items and designs, maybe UA could take some notes. Also, the new lake county captains logo is how a new logo should be, its just beautiful.

Best student section all year tonight, still pretty far off from what it was even two years ago but it was such a nice sight to see. Some young life running the rowdies now apparently, looking forward to see how next year goes student wise.
