Actually it was a loss that was one of my favorite moments (to be honest nothing could have topped being at the national championship but this came very close for me). In 2018 when the Zips made the national championship, they played Maryland. My daughter had just graduated from there and happened to be in San Diego at the time. So I flew out and we went to the game together and it was pretty cool being with her and having her team win a National championship on the same field that the Zips had 8 years earlier.

I am not surprised we have only scored 14 points. I am shocked we have given up zero.

Wonder what's going on with Bryan McCoy? Not listed on the inactive roster. Also feel bad for Alex Adams man. He has been on injured reserve pretty much the entire year.

Yep really seemed like the injury to Mitch was the turning point. You surely can't expect a true freshman with no playing time to live up to Mitch's standard. He did the best he could. Damn it. I'll be rooting against Indiana for as long as they're in the tournament now.

Hopefully, the Indiana community will be too upset at their football loss to pay much attention to this one. Indiana has a stronger history,a winning record against the Zips, the Zips have never won in Bloomington and none of that matters today.

How have the Zips made four more baskets total and nine more threes and are only up by four points. Then I looked at the free throws.

With Bowling Green beating Ball State it put the Zips into a tie for eighth. Progress 😊 it also means the winner of Bowling Green-Miami will make the title game. Ohio will also make it with a win over Ball State. If they lose and Buffalo beats Kent (a virtual certainty), there will be a three-way tie between the loser of Bowling Green-Miami, Ohio and Buffalo. Since they did not all play each other, it will come down to records against common opponents and I am too lazy to figure that out right now.
